2. Born on May 4,1904 in Baliuag Bulacan.
His parents are Leocadia Ramirez and
Lucino Buenaventura, A chief musician
of the Spanish artillery band in
Intamuros.
Antonino Buenaventura was known as
composer, conductor, teacher, and National
Artist for Music. He married Rizalina Exconde.
He died on January 25, 1996 at the age of 92.

teaching,major in sciene and
composistion in 1932.

most popular among his
compositions in 1936, His
other famous works are: Echoes
of the Philippines, By the
Hillside, and Awit sa Tagumpay ng
bayan .
