The idea is to develop a prototype that has the potential to reverse decades of pollution. This device will be able to filter plastic debris out of water and store it in reusable compartment.The idea is similr to Roomba ,an autonomous vaccum cleaner for the common household.Intead of cleaning solid surface,the idea is expanded to ocean.

• The sides of the body have cutouts and slits to connect to each
other, mount the conveyor belt system, and to mount floatation.
• Within the device, there is an enclosed compartment that houses
the entire device’s electronics such as the modules integrated in
Prototype
• Each of these boxes holds a certain electrical device. From the
image below starting on the very left to right: PCB board, Arduino
UNO, Solar Charger, 10-pole Terminal block, GPS, and Receiver

• So basic stress analysis is simulated using the
Solid works flow simulation tool.
• This is done to find out how much amount of
pressure exerted on the exterior body due to the
speed of water.
• In our case the speed of model is 0.82 m/s , So with
this speed as max the pressure is calculated.
• And as per the simulation 96Kpa pressure is exerted
on the surface of body which shows the stress is
less and is also indicated by the blue stripes.
