1. 1. FirstlyIopened InDesign andcreatedanew document.Thisconsistedof me havingtoadjust
the measurementsinorderformydocumenttobe setup as a double page spread. Ithen
draggedthe two pagestogethertoforma double page (asseenbelow)
2. I thenselectedthe linetool inordertocreate a boarderaroundmy DPS.Thisis because a
conventionwhichIfoundwaspresentonexistingDPS’swasaboarderaround the edge of
the page.
3. I thenchangedthe thicknessof the linesto3pointssoit wasvisible howevernotover
powering.

5. From myplanwhichwas on paperI thenbeganto constructmy layoutof my DPS on
InDesign.Ididthisbyselectingthe rectangle frame tool for where Iwantedtoaddan image
and the type tool where Iwantedthere tobe text.
6. I firstlyselectedthe type tool box where the title of the filmwouldbe andtypedin
‘WOODEND.’I usedcapslock as I feltitwouldallow the title of the filmtostand out.

3. 7. I thenadjustedthe spacingbetweenthe lettersto -80.
8. I Thenin adjustedthe fontsize toa smallersize,forthe date thatfilmwhichwasthe date of
the realsingof the film.
1. AlthoughIadjestedthe fontto be smaller Iwantedto icreasrthe hightof the text.I
increasedthe hightof the textby92%.
10. AfterthisI changedthe fontinto BoldCond as I feltitlookedmore appealingandwould
gainthe audience attentionbetter.
1. For the filmreviewratingIplacedastar from google imagesontofireworks,where I
removedthe white backgroundusingthe magicwandtool.

4. 9. I thenrescaledthe starto make it smaller.

5. 10. I thenplacedthe star imagesontomyDPS, where Ifoundtheywere toolarge therefore I
rescaledthemsotheywouldfitintothe box whichwasdesignatedforthem.

6. 11. I thencopiedandpastedthe star 5 timesandplacedthemnexttoeach other.

7. 12. AfterthisI beganto place the images

8. 13. I foundthat some imageswere toodark,therefore IeditedthemviaFireworkswhere I
adjustedthe brightnessandcontrast.
