Cloud Computing
“Cloud Computing is an emerging
computing technology that use the
internet and center remote servers to
maintain data application.”
Overview
Introduction
Definition of Cloud Computing
Deployment modals of Cloud Computing
Service modals of Cloud Computing
Key Characteristics
Introduction
In general, there is a shift in the geography of
computation.
Data and programs are being swept up from desktop
PCs and corporate server rooms and installed in “the
compute cloud”.
Definition
“Cloud computing is a parading shift that
provide computing with internet”
Any situation in which computing is done in a
remote location (out in the cloud), rather than
on your desktop or portable device.
Cloud Computing
Provide Highly
Optimize Data
Deployment modals
Public Cloud
Private Cloud
Hybrid Cloud
We can deploy cloud Computing service by using three
different modals
Private Cloud
A private cloud provides services to a particular
customers and An organization. A private cloud is
highly secure .
PRIVATE ENTERPRISE
Public Cloud:-
A public cloud provides services to multiple
customers.
Public clouds are run by third parties,
and applications from different customers are likely
to be mixed together on the cloud’s servers, storage
systems, and networks.
PUBLIC
ENTERPRISE
Hybrid Cloud
The hybrid cloud is the mix-up of Public cloud and
Private Cloud. Private clouds are built for the
exclusive use of one client, providing the utmost
control over data, security, and quality of service.
Infrastructure as a service (IaaS)
The cloud computing offer infrastructure as a service.
One may avail hardware services such as
processors, memory, networks etc on agreed basis for
specific duration and price.
In IaaS the any organization or an enterprise has
control over the IT Infrastructure
Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Under this a computing platform such as operating system is
provided to a customer or end user on a monthly rental basis.
Some of the major cloud computing vendor are
1) Amazon
2) Microsoft
3) Google
4) IBM etc.
Software as a Service (SaaS)
Here a customer upon registration is allowed to use
software accessible through net and use it for his or
his business process.
1) Salesforce.com
2) Google Apps
Cloud Computing Services
Companies offering computing services
Amazon
Google
Yahoo
IBM and
Microsoft etc.
These Companies are players in Cloud Computing
services industry
Amazon Web Services
It is the set of Cloud Computing services offered by
Amazon.
It involves four different services:-
Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2)
Simple Storage Service (S3)
Simple Queue Service (SQS)
Simple Database Service (SDB)
1. Elastic Web Service (EC2):-
It provides on-demand processing power
It provides complete control of your computing resources.
2. Simple Storage Service (S3):-
It provide storage for the Internet.
It provide cloud computing storage.
It provide a simple SQL – like language.
3) Simple Queue Service (SQS):-
It offers a reliable, highly scalable, hosted queue for
storing the message as they travel B/T computers.
4) Simple Database Service (SDB):-
It offers the Web-Service for running queries on
Structural Database in run time.
Thank you
