Process Advantages Disadvantages
Stop Motion The resources needed for stop
motion animation consist of a
camera, plasticine, tools, a
computer. One of the main issues
when using stop motion animation
is the fact that is it too time
consuming as Animation and
materials for sets such as card and
pens. All these resources are
easily accessible. the making
photographing and editing all take
quite a while. As the models are
made out of plasticine, the Stop
motion animation needs a lot of
work. This is because all the shots
have to be in the style in which
they are made shortening them to
help them run smoothly and to
make the film sinuous. Using
decent; transitions, titles, sounds
and much more.
The technique in stop motion
animation is easy to practise and
ensuring that all the shots are done
in one is vital, this is easy to pick
up
Hand Drawn Hand Drawn animation can be a good
way to make an animation as you
can adapt rub out and change it as
you go. The resources needed are
mainly a pencil, therefore its quite
simple in its approach.
Drawn animation can be quite time
consuming when drawing it
yourself. Everything you want to
happen in the animation has to be
well drawn. Also, the animation
may not look as good as it. if you
don’t have the artistic ability to
create it.
