an animal survive in a particular
environment.
•Adaptation can help an animal breathe,
catch food,
or hide.
•All animals and plants are adapted to live
in certain habitats.
•Animals and plants that cannot adapt will
die out.

6. Hot and Dry Environment
Conditions:
● Very little water
● Small amount of rain
● Water dries up quickly because of heat

like camels and small animals like rats and
lizards.

places. They dig Burrows to stay in during
the hot days and come out at night when
it is cooler.
