The video showed a classroom exercise where only white female students were interrogated by the teacher to illustrate the daily abuse faced by black people due to the color of their skin. One student became so upset that she left the room. The exercise proved that while the students could escape the abuse, people who experience it daily have no choice in the matter. Students were asked to reflect on the video and how it made them think about the discrimination faced by African Americans.

'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land

- 1. Angry Eye Assignment Description: Prior to this assignment we watched a video in class called Angry Eye that showed a classroom setting. The students in the video were exposed to an exercise in which only the white Females were targeted in being interrogated. The point of the study was to show these white females how black people are treated every day simply for the color of their skin. It was discovered that the girls became very upset, and one even left the room after being interrogated by the teacher. The interesting part about the exercise was that it proved that while these students could run away from the abuse, these people that experience it in the world can be nothing about it on a day-to-day basis. After watching the video we were asked to reflect on the video and the experiment itself. Reflection: Ashley Jarrell Video Due: 9/29/2014 Youtube Video Analysis In my opinion the video was quite difficult to watch due to the harsh material presented. As I watched the teacher make her students feel inferior and get upset it really made me think about the point she was trying to get across to the class. Through the presentation I learned how much abuse African Americans experience even to this day. Due to the fact that I have never been one to really pay attention to the color of skin, or at least I don’t believe that I have, I hadn’t really entertained the thought that was analyzed. It was interesting to me that these people are
- 2. still being abused, specifically verbally, and I hadn’t even realized it all of this time. I think that if I had been one of the white students in the room, such as the first girl to be tormented and have a breakdown, I would have expressed an identical reaction. While the exercise was aimed to make the Caucasian students aware of the way others are treated on a day to day basis, I felt that presenting in so sternly wasn’t the way to go. I believe this is why the first two girls got upset; they didn’t like being talked to in that manner and missed the point of the exercise. Furthermore, I felt that the last woman to speak about the activity offered a very solid point. She was trying to make it clear that just because some of the students were African American didn’t mean that their abuse was naturally more severe than other struggles people have to face in society. Overall, I felt that the presentation was effective in its purpose, but could have been demonstrated in a more positive light.
