A student was scared on their first day of 4th grade because they only knew a few friends from their old class and had to introduce themselves to many new people. They froze when trying to talk to their classmates, unsure of what to say. By the end of the year though, they had made many new friends and enjoyed having a funny and smart teacher, making it the best school year of their life.

1. My 4 th Grade Year

2. When I walked into 4 th grade, I was very scared. I didn't know most of the people that were in my class. There were only a few of my friends from my old class. I didn't know what I should say to the new people. I figured I should try to meet new people.

3. So, I decided to introduce myself to other people. When I walked up to them, I froze. I couldn't move. All I could think about was what I was going to say. Should I tell them my name first? Should I tell them my interesting traits? I had no idea what I should do.

4. I had to make a lot of these decisions in the beginning of the year. But it was all worth it in the end. I made a lot of new friends. They are all so nice. I have a very friendly, hilarious, smart teacher. He is the best teacher I could ever have. This year's experience in 4 th grade was the best year I could ever have in my whole entire life.
