Angora wool refers to the soft downy coat produced by the Angora rabbit. It is very absorbent but lacks tensile strength on its own, so it is often blended with other fibers like wool. Angora wool must be hand washed with mild detergent and cold water to avoid felting or damage. It takes about two weeks total to process the wool from harvesting to a finished product. Angora wool is commonly used to make warm, lightweight knitted clothing and accessories.
