July 2015-Aug 2015
Duties: Running workshops for adults and children, public speaker, document administration.
Girlguiding run 8 GOLD (Girlguiding Overseas Linked with Development) projects each year in
partnership with other Guide Associations around the world and have been making a difference for
over 20 years. GOLD delivers sustainable community-based development projects ranging from
environmental issues to teaching leadership skills. I was fortunate to be chosen to represent the UK
in a sixth year project to Malawi. Alongside 5 other women, I taught girls and young women
teamwork, leadership and advocacy skills. We trained a team of 20 Malawians who will continue to
teach these lessons, to encourage young women to stay in education and give themselves a bright
future.
Avnet Technology Solutions
Aug 2014 –July 2015

My primary responsibility at Avnet was the management of the Independent software mailbox
which includes responding to customer emails, forwarding queries to our suppliers and producing

SKILLS
CfBT Inspection services
Feb 2013 – June 2014
Ofsted contract scheduler (Full time)
Duties: Scheduling and management of inspections, risk management, staff organisation, report
writing, presentations, induction procedure, answering email and telephone queries
Whilst working with CfBT, it was imperative to balance the professional education inspector’s
opinions with those financial needs of the company. To ensure the smooth running of over 2000
inspections per academic year it was vital to manage ones time efficiently by responding to emails
quickly, answering telephone calls and messages promptly and attending staff meetings. To manage
over 600 contracted inspectors, which entailed memory training as well as competent record
keeping.
Our team at CfBT were solution focussed; to ensure that all inspections are completed with the
predetermined time scale it was crucial to think around problems to find a positive outcome. I hope
that I would bring a new perspective to the quality and development of any new business.
