The student reflects on their research project about Ancient Rome. They enjoyed researching online and found religion to be the most interesting topic. They struggled to gather all the information and write it in their notebook. The most interesting thing they learned was about Rome's laws and societal structure. They are proud of their report because it helped them and others learn. They would improve it by adding more interesting details. They didn't enjoy making artifacts but were proud of the five they created. The student was nervous presenting but enjoyed that others learned. This project helped them learn more about Ancient Rome.

The Research Journey:
My favorite part of the research journey was doing the research
on my mac book becauseit was fun andI learned how to research
and learn all about my ancient civilization. My best research
question was about religion because religion is the most
important of all.While doing my research, I found it difficult to
get all the information and write everything in my mac book.
The most interesting thing I learned about the structure of
society was thatmy civilization had many laws about it.I
think thatRome had many legaciesand inventions today and it
could help lots of people.
Report Writing
I am proud of my report because when I do a report people learn
and I learn. While writing the report, I became better at
knowing about ancient Rome. If I wrote it again, I would
improve my report bywriting and more interesting information so
I don’t get so much editing.
Archeology Presentation
I didn’t enjoy making my artifacts because I’m not really an
art maker.I found it difficult to write the report and get
information.
I am most proud of my 5 artifacts becausepeople thought that my
artifacts were great. I enjoyed the archeology presentation
because people were nice and quiet and learned all about
ancient Rome.I found it difficult to speak to every one who came
because I was nervous and got very exhausted.While preparing

During this unit I especially enjoyed talking to the people who
came at my stand. I took extra time to dig my artifacts in my
box and drink some water. After this unit, I might continue to
research more about the people and ask the questions about
things I don’t know.
