Joshua enjoyed researching ancient Greece, especially finding answers to his questions about their writing and language. He found that women's roles have greatly expanded from ancient Greece. Joshua was proud of his report using hamburger paragraphs and artifacts he created, like a message stone. He took extra time to find artifacts and wants to continue learning more about ancient Greek civilization.

My Civilization:Ancient Greece
The Research Journey:
My favorite part of the research journey was finding the answers to my
questions because it was also hard part but it was also my favorite part.
My best research question was about writing and laguage because it was the
most interesting.While doing my research, I found it difficult to find answers
because it was hard find the correct answer in many books and websites.
The most interesting thing I learned about the structure of society was that
almost everything women couldn’t do in ancient Greece, they can do now.
I think that weapons is an important legacy of ancient Greece because if they
don’t have weapons they couldn’t protect themselves.
Report Writing
I am proud of my report because I did a great job at writing hamburger
paragraphs.While writing the report, I became better at making paragraphs with
topic sentences.If I wrote it again, I would improve my report by adding more
details and information to make it even more interesting to read.
Archeology Presentation
I enjoyed making my artifacts because it was really fun. I found it difficult to
make and find artefacts because I couldn’t find them quickly. I am most proud of
the message stone because I think it is the most coolest. I enjoyed the archeology
presentation because it was very interesting and also fun to talk to people.While
preparing for this presentation, I learned a lot about ancient Greece.
What else?
During this unit I especially enjoyed making and findingatrefacts. I took extra
time to find artefacts, such as the voting stone because we didn’t have that kind
of rock. After this unit, I might continue to find information about ancient Greece
because I want to more know even about ancient Greece.
