Ancient Civilizations Reflection

My Civilization: Is Ancient Egypt

The Research Journey:
My favorite part of the research journey was note-
taking becauseit was really easy and because if we
used books it waseasy to get a lot more
information. My best research question was “What
kind of food did they eat?” because is sometime is
little bit difficult how to do the clothing and beliefs,
that’s why I chosen the best research question
about food. While doing my research, I found it
difficult designing artifacts because it was hard to
think about all the artifactsand I got really
confused. The most interesting thing I learned about
the structure of society was that men often had two
jobs.I think that education is an important legacy
because it is important that Ancient Egypt children
have to learned how to write in ancient Egypt.

Report Writing
I am proud of my report because everyone could
see my video and some writing. While writing the
report, I became better at knowing bout Ancient
Egyptian clothing. If I wrote it again, I would improve
my report by writing my report well.

Archeology Presentation
I didn’t enjoy making my artifacts because some
pieces were broken.I found it difficult to memorize
all the palm card because its really hard to
memorize all the words from the palm cards.I am
most proud of my pieces of pottery artifact because
it’s really easy to make a pottery then we could
draw by copying a computer picture.I enjoyed/didn’t
enjoy the archeology presentation because I didn’t
enjoy the archeologist presentation because grades
5,3,2 always said, “Ok okay” but they didn’t hear my
whole my archeologist’s speech. While preparing
for this presentation, I became better at video
because by that time I had memorized the palm
cards.

What else?
During this unit I especially enjoyed doing the
research. I took extra time to practice my palm
cards. After this unit, I might continue to do some a
lot more research.
