3000BCE-1200CE. Ancient China was a very
important civilization because they made many
inventions. In Ancient China archeologists know a
lot about food, daily life and legacies in Ancient
China.

but hard for poor people. Poor people enjoyed
story telling and gambling. King and nobles loved
to go hunting. People both young and old to fly
kites and almost everyone played Xiang Qi. Chinese
also loved gambling. Many people, especially
monks practiced tai chi. The emperor was the ruler
of all china. Only the rich had private bath rooms.
The hot water for washing was sold in the street.
The Chinese enjoyed many games. Many people
played card games and chess. A betting game that
used bamboo sticks in stead of dice.

and discovered paper, printing, the compass
and gunpowder.
They also invented abacus, acupuncture and
fireworks. The Great Wall of China was built in
the time of the first emperor. The Great Wall
was mostly built by the army.
