This photo shows a person using hand sanitizer at a payphone. Their eyes are drawn to the center where their hands are sanitizing. The background is blurred with shallow focus on the hands. The rule of thirds is used with the left vertical line including the payphone and sanitized fingers. The shutter speed was fast enough to avoid blur on the moving fingers. The purpose is to promote hand sanitizer use during the health crisis.

Acetabularia Information For Class 9 .docxvaibhavrinwa19
Acetabularia acetabulum is a single-celled green alga that in its vegetative state is morphologically differentiated into a basal rhizoid and an axially elongated stalk, which bears whorls of branching hairs. The single diploid nucleus resides in the rhizoid.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Analysis of Photographs
1. In this photo you can see the rule of thirds you can see how the rule of thirds is applied in this image there is
more focus on the team its focused on them because its showing them celebrating the goal they have just
scored you can see how in the photo your eyes are directed to the celebrating players this is the rule of thirds
in place showing you what’s important. In this you can also see how the lighting is aimed on the team and its
more bright on them its like a shining light of praise and the over team have ay darker to say they have lost
all confidence in this game and have no passion. In this picture it shows shallow focus the team who are in the
background celebrating are on focus and the team who concede in the foreground are blurred out.
2. In this photo there is a high angle shot you can tell this is applied in this picture by just
looking at it is looking down on the casket and people. it’s a high wide angle shot because its
showing the people full body’s.
The rule of thirds is used in this picture because the first thing yours eyes make contact with
is the casket ,so straight away your mind thinks death but when you start to look wider in
the picture you will see more casket’s and then there are, three men two men in the corner
talking by the looks of it trying to lighting the mood and then there is one more man walking
by with a asbestos mask and gloves, because he most of either been clearing the casket or
dealing with a dead body.
In this photo there is lighting it shines on the casket to show you what’s important and then
the light goes darker around the edges, but you can see in the photo were there is vibrant
colours like the guy wearing a yellow bib with a whit shirt is darkened because in this phot
its trying to keep all the negative stuff in the canter and push all the positive stuff away.
3. In this photo there is a two shot the subjects are what you should be looking
at and but also in this picture is a wide and long shot because you can see a
lot and further away into the picture.
Wide shot is used in this picture you can tell this because of how the pic has a
certain width to it, you can see a lot in the photo like the flooding of houses
and the trees that look small because of the water growing to almost the
same height as them , and what comes straight to mind is destruction of
homes and habitats.
Long shot is used in this you can tell it is used by looking at the pic you can see
quite far away from the two subjects you can clearly see houses in the
background submerged in water and see down the street a little a bit.
4. In this photo their is a two shot that is used in a full shot you can
Cleary see them it shows all of there body on this Image
The photographer took this photo to catch these two subjects
walking back from set to the purpose of this photo is to tach them
out of publics eyes you can clearly see they just have their scruffs
on well one of them really the other is actually well dressed so this
is more of a fashion statement.
5. This is a mid shot primarily focused on the
subject closer even though two over subjects
in the foreground are in focus they are not the
main subjects of this picture.
This photo was talk to catch the subject out
in public you can see him being hidden by
either a body guard or friend and you can see
another popular subject in the foreground of
this picture you can sort of see in the subjects
face a bit of confusion.
This is a full two shot even though there is more
people the main subjects are in the centre of the
picture and they are also focus on more the
people in the foreground are in focus but not are
not the main focus.
This photo was took because it was to show what
the two subjects are like out in public and off set
and two see what they get up to you can clearly
see they are looking underneath a car.
6. Category: Fashion
Purpose: To show a new brand of clothing
Meaning: To Advertise
Image content: eye line are drawn left of the centre as the subject is positioned along the vertical left line
Eyes will also be drawn to the right as the tide is coming in from the right with the sea itself is visible within the top right
box of the rule of thirds.
Fast shutter speed to avoid blur from the tide and wind blowing the dress or hair
Natura lighting used too create grey white colour
Body language is pose for the camera
7. Category: Fashion
Purpose: To show a new brand of clothing
Meaning: To Advertise
Image content: Eye line central due to the subjects
position being within the central boxes of the rule of
thirds.
Eyes are also drawn top left and bottom right
Fast shutter speed to loose motion blur as the photograph
and the subject will be moving ‘quick snap’
Artificial lighting as the shoot is within a studio
Body language is a pose for the camera
8. Category: music album
Purpose: to illustrate and album cover
meaning: to promote/advertise the album
Image content: your eye line is drawn to the centre frame. Eyes drawn to the bottom right the rule of thirds is for
the album cover. Fast shutter speed because there is no blur subject and photographer will be moving ‘’ quick
snap’’. Artificial lighting as its in a studio she is in shallow focus to keep her face focused.
9. Category: Health
Purpose: to promote hand sanitiser
Meaning: to advertise hand sanitiser
The rule of thirds eye line draw to the centre of the frame. Its in shallow focus you can tell this
because you can see the background blurred out and the camera wants u to look at the centre
of the photo. Left vertical line you can see the payphone and were there fingers are the
buttons. Shutter speed estimate blur on fingers.
