This document summarizes an article that proposes an enhanced least significant bit (LSB) steganographic method for information hiding. The proposed method aims to improve upon the traditional LSB insertion method by employing a selective and randomized approach to embedding secret data bits. It uses a linear congruential generator seeded by a user password to randomly select target image bits for embedding. An experiment found that the proposed method introduced less image distortion than the traditional LSB method, demonstrating improved imperceptibility and hiding capacity.
