En temps de crisi, les petites inversions sobre la gestió de la mobilitat sovint són les primeres en ser rebutjades. No obstant això, les mesures de gestió de la mobilitat que han demostrat ser altament cost-eficients i eficaces en el canvi del comportament. Diversos estudis també han calculat els enormes beneficis econòmics d'aquest canvi de comportament.
