Diligence, dedication and drive; three characteristics I possess which I believe will help
me excel as a member of your team. My completion of management courses and the
experience of owning and operating my own company have given me the tools to
succeed. I have received a RIBO licence attained at the IBAO so am extensively
educated in the field of insurnace. I also hold a Diploma for Police
Foundations/Criminology from The Sheridan Institute of Technology. The RIBO licence
has prepared me adequately in to the world of Insurance. My Diploma in police
foundations has bestowed great morals, ethics and analytical thinking into my reasoning.
My time at work and school has allowed me to develop many of the skills that I feel
would help me fit in and succeed within your department and corporation. As an owner
of my own logistics company for the past 4 years, my knowledge and skills attained go
unmatched. I now have experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of
contracting, negotiating, and change management. Skill in examining and re-engineering
operations and procedures. Experience in formulating policy, and developing and
implementing new strategies and procedures. Ability to develop financial plans and
manage resources. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data. Knowledge of public
relations principles and practices. Knowledge of communication and public relation
techniques. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to identify and secure
funding/revenue sources.
During my time with GTX Transport, I worked in sales and as a dispatcher. I spent much
of my time collecting, synthesizing and utilizing sales figures in order to make accurate
forecasts for future production and sales targets. During my time with the company I
helped increase productivity within my work group in major key performance areas. I
also have 2 years of telemarketing experience working with Pacific Liberty Group, where
I was an outbound sales agent. I have accumulated over 4 years of customer service
experience which has allowed me to develop a true understanding of the complexities in
meeting the needs of customers, internally and externally. My time with Primerica
Financial instilled in me the skills needed to thrive in a fast pace environment. I worked
closely with members of my sales team under tight deadlines in order to achieve
challenging department goals and objectives while ensuring the needs of my clients
were met. I performed consistently amongst the top quartile of sales people within my
region. At Rathlin Contracting Limited, I worked individually and as part of team,
developing and presenting new and improved ideas to help the advancement of work in
our Restoration Department. Much of my time was spent working closely with owners,
insurance companies, and clients in order to fulfill need of all parties. My educational
background has been concentrated in the areas of Insurance, Law, Policing,
Criminology, and general securities, which has provided me rigorous training in all these
areas. I possess excellent presentation and communication skills with a passion for

 Owned and operated a logistics company servicing lanes from Ontario -
Maritimes.
 Built strong bonds and close relationships with individuals at Logistic brokerage
firms and large logistic outfits in order to improve our book of business.
 Worked as a dispatcher, human resourcing, accounting, and conducted the
operations of the company on a day to day basis 24/7.
 Built a fleet from 3 trucks and trailer to 10 trucks and 12 trailers.
 Ensured all parties concerns were handled appropriately, providing sound advice

with Home, auto, and travel insurance.
