City. While its transmitter is located at Delos
Reyes St., UP Village, Diliman, QC. It is being used
as a laboratory for the Broadcast Communication
students of the university. Its programming
includes music programs and request shows to
informative segments and talk shows.

6. DZBF
• DEL Radio - Radyo Marikina (1674 kHz Metro
Manila) is a low-power AM station owned and
operated by the Marikina City
Government through its Public Information
Office. The station's studio is located at 2nd
floor of Marikina City Hall, Shoe Ave.,Marikina
City, while its transmitter is at the Engineering
Center, Gil Fernando Ave cor. Aquilina St.
in Marikina City. DEL Radio - Radyo Marikina
can be heard on the internet.

7. KZKZ
• KZKZ (729 kHz AM) was the second radio station in
the Philippines. It began broadcasting in 1922 and was
founded by Henry Hermann, the owner of the Electrical
Supply Company in Manila. The station was upgraded in
1924 to a 100-watt station and its call letters KZKZ were
adopted. Later that year, the station was sold to the Radio
Corporation of the Philippines.
