the long-term and day to day operation of the school, the curriculum taught, the hiring

administrator and teachers.
Directly manage student admission processes, including conducting student entry

Act as the primary contact to liaise with and communicate with the Chinese host
school’s program director
Supervise the development of course overviews and course outlines, profiles, exams
and standards of evaluation in accordance with the Province of BC Ministry
guidelines.
Create school schedules (teaching timetables, student schedules, examinations, PD
inset days), maintaining complete and accurate school records, setting and
participating in dispute resolution processes.
Oversee school-wide programs, initiatives and events including all teaching and
learning activities, the marketing the school and attracting new students through
media presentations, visits to local public and private elementary schools and school
wide open house days.
Organize and provide supervision for professional development of BC teachers,
performing teaching duties as appropriate, evaluate learning situations in the
classrooms and establish evaluation and assessment processes that are reported to
parents.
Manage the general conduct of students, both in the halls and classrooms and on
school premises during activities organized or sponsored by the school.
Assist in post-secondary course selection and applications process.

Performed all administrative duties required of a principal and section supervisor
needed for the daily operation of the Canadian program

responsible for setting exam schedules and developing a parent friendly report card

Met monthly with principals from the school’s American and British (regular and IB)
divisions to coordinate planned in-class and extra-curricular activities and field trips
Mentored and provided teaching evaluations for two junior level teachers. Aided them
with planning and in implementing a strongly student centered learning environment.
Arranged for parent/teacher consultations and replacement of staff on sick leave
Teaching Duties
Oversaw the delivery of the Canadian high school curriculum to Chinese students in
the areas of English, social science, history, mathematics, chemistry and physics
Planned, evaluated and provided direct full time instruction for intermediate and
