Nawab Salimullah proposed the creation of
all India Muslim league.
Mohsin-ul-mulk and viqar-ul-mulk were
jointly made secretaries. But after the
death of Mohsin-ul-mulk in 1907 , Viqar-ul-
mulk was in full control of league.
Muslim league hold its first session at
Karachi on Dec 29 and 30 in 1907.
Quaid-e-azam join the league in 1913.

The main cause for the formation of
Muslim League was the Urdu-Hindi
Conflict at Banaras in 1867 . The
protection of Urdu was vital for Muslim
and it was not possible without the
formation of a political organization

The Hindu sectarian
organization Arya Samaj
formed Gao Rksha Sabha for
the protection of cows in 1883
whose goal was to stop
Muslims from sacrificing cows.
Under these circumstances
unity of Muslim was
unbelievable to stop the
Hindus in religious affairs and
for that formation of organized
party was necessary.

8. Formation Of Congress
On December 28,1885 at
Bombay the Indian National
Congress formed under the
leadership of Lord Hume ,
claimed that it was the only
representative party for all
India groups.

9. Success Of Simla Delegation
On November a delegation of 35
members under the leadership of Sir
Agha Khan met the viceroy of India lord
Minto at Simla and presented its
demands for protection of rights and
interests of the Muslims . After thinking
on those demands he gave a helpful
answer to the delegates which created
a feeling of confidence , unity and
political awareness in events in the
making of Muslim league .
