Powder Filling
Stainless steel augers dispense product from within a large
capacity hopper. We o er a variety of accessories for lling
free owing and non-free owing powder and granular products.
Liquid Filling
An alternative progressive cavity pump is installed on a drive shaft
for dispensing viscous liquids, creams, gels, etc.
Product Supply
A stainless steel 10 or 16 gallon hopper (alternative capacities
available) provides ample capacity and su cient head pressure
for repeatable, accurate lling. A self-aligning, quick-disconnect
coupling on the hopper allows for fast removal and replacement
for cleaning or product changeover.
Product Agitation
High and low speed agitation accessories move product evenly
into the auger ights. When required, a high-speed agitator blade
is installed directly onto the auger shaft. Slow-speed agitation is
driven by a separate motor and gearbox.
Product Level
Optional level controls are available to provide high/low detection
of product in the hopper, with actuation to external equipment for
re-supply. The control and sensor assembly are easily mounted in
the hopper cover.
Dispensing Control
An optical shaft encoder provides 200 pulses per revolution to the
controller for precise control of auger revolutions.

All-Fill’s eld-proven semi-automatic
auger llers excel in a wide variety of
applications with virtually any type of
product. Typical models consist of a
sturdy cast aluminum head containing
the drive components, and a stainless
steel column mounted on a rugged
aluminum column.
Controls offered include a variety
of PLC-based packages, which can
consist of a keypad or touchscreen
operator interface. All-Fill’s semi-
automatic models can be seamlessly
integrated with packaging equipment
such as form- ll-seal machines, cup
llers, and thermoformers. They can
also be used for stand alone bench-
top lling. Standard con gurations
can be easily adapted to individual
requirements.

Model BS Pouch
Filling System
Semi-automatic ll-to-weight auger
llers are used when a speci c,
veri ed, weighed quantity of product
is to be dispensed. All models include
scales and loadcell components to
determine accurate weight reading
before, during, and after each ll cycle.
Accessories such as bag clamps, roller
conveyors, and lifts are implemented
according to speci c customer
requirements and constraints.
Sophisticated feedback/feedforward
controls allow for ll value adjustment,
error correction, and accept/reject
tolerance control.

Weighing Systems
Separate oor/tabletop platform scale or combination bag
clamp/loadcell scale assemblies for accurate weight control of
containers and lled product.
Fill-to-Weight
Available Fill-to-Weight models include:
Bulk & Dribble: Speci es lling and weighing in a two-stage
ll cycle where the greater portion of product is dispensed
and weighed, then lled again to a desired target weight. After
the second dribble- ll, the container is weighed again and is
categorized as acceptable, underweight, or overweight.
Applications: High accuracy, low production rates, consistent
product density. Semi-automatic operation; requires an operator.
Setpoint: Speci es lling and weighing in a single stage ll
where product is dispensed as its weight approaches a user-
de ned target weight. Product is weighed at the end of ll and
categorized as acceptable, underweight, and overweight.
Applications: Moderate accuracy/moderate production rates
(higher than Bulk & Dribble).
Used with products that change density.
Semi-automatic operation; requires an operator.
Fill by Time: Speci es lling only; no weighing occurs. Product
is dispensed for a user-speci ed ll time. Bypasses loadcell and
encoder in case of failure/malfunction.
Applications: Accuracy dependent on product density. High
production rates. Capable of fully automatic operation without
operator intervention. Allows production to continue with
loadcell/encoder failures or malfunctions.
Fill by Revolutions: Speci es lling only. No weighing occurs.
Product is dispensed for a user-speci ed number of auger
revolutions. Bypasses loadcell in cases of failure/malfunction.
Applications: Accuracy dependent on product density. High
production rates. Capable of fully automatic operation without
operator intervention. Allows production to continue with
loadcell failures or malfunctions.

All-Fill’s automatic llers are designed
for complete, continuous container
transport, positioning, lling and
discharge to the next stage in the
packaging process. Automatic models
combine a standard ll head with an
integral conveyor to move containers.
An indexing system mounted on
the conveyor regulates container
movement toward the lling position,
centers each container for lling, and
then moves the container away.
Available in single or multiple

All-Fill’s multiple spindle auger systems
provide controlled, multiple auger
dispensing of product across production
lines using cup machines, form- ll-seal
equipment, thermoformers, and strip/
pouch machines. Filling positions can
range from 3 to 12 (other positions
available) across with a minimum
center distance of 1 3/4” (various center
distances available).
Multiple spindle auger models are
available in baseplate, cantilever,
or overhead gantry mounting
con gurations to best suit the
equipment or application. Individual
servo drives are independently adjusted.
360-degree agitation is available
(3 - 1/2” centers and up). Multiple auger
models can be mounted and installed
onto production equipment at All-Fill for
thorough integration and testing.

Single or twin 2 HP drive motors with variable speed motor and
heavy-duty clutch/brake per head. Drive system components are
contained in the rugged case metal head.
Container Handling
Systems include one complete set of container handling parts,

Variable frequency, variable amplitude square wave vibration to

Conveyor
Stainless steel (Type 304) conveyor channel with acetyl at-top chain
and variable speed AC drive motor with reducing gearbox, hain
sprocketing, and drive components.
Turret
12-45 positions (other positions available) xed turret assembly
with divider plate and funnel carriage. Includes variable speed drive,
turret jam protection, vacuum take-o ports at each ll position,
turret safety shroud assembly with front access panels, and safety
interlock switches.
Container Positioning
Infeed timing screw positions container at infeed. Removable
starwheel moves containers to turret positions.
All-Fill’s automatic rotary llers provide
high throughput and speeds for even
the most demanding production
environments. Rotary auger lling
systems operate continuously with
product dispensed into funnels traveling
on a circular, multi-position turret by
an integral infeed conveyor. Timing
screws and starwheel components
space and position containers into
the turret. Variable speed auger drives
operate continuously to dispense
product accurately. Product weight is
easily adjusted by the operator or from
checkweigher feedback signals, and
production rates (CPM) are adjusted by
varying turret speeds.

Servo Drive Package
The Servo-Drive Package is a completely servo-driven, continuous
motion, rotary auger ller speci cally designed to meet virtually
any range of containers, products, and ll weights.
• A servo-driven ll motor provides the positional accuracy and
precise revolution control of the auger to dispense required
amounts of product.
• A servo-driven turret provides direct entry of production rates
and coordination with up/down stream equipment.
• The fully adjustable timing screw and servo-drive regulates
containers to the starwheel and turret positions. Indexed x-y
adjustment handwheels and numeric dial indicators simplify
setup for di erent containers and improves re-positioning.

problems and incompatibilities
encountered by joining lling and
checkweighing components from
separate sources. Weights detected by
checkweighers in these models can be
used as feedback that adjusts amounts
dispensed at the ller.

  • 4. 4 Powder Filling Stainless steel augers dispense product from within a large capacity hopper. We o er a variety of accessories for lling free owing and non-free owing powder and granular products. Liquid Filling An alternative progressive cavity pump is installed on a drive shaft for dispensing viscous liquids, creams, gels, etc. Product Supply A stainless steel 10 or 16 gallon hopper (alternative capacities available) provides ample capacity and su cient head pressure for repeatable, accurate lling. A self-aligning, quick-disconnect coupling on the hopper allows for fast removal and replacement for cleaning or product changeover. Product Agitation High and low speed agitation accessories move product evenly into the auger ights. When required, a high-speed agitator blade is installed directly onto the auger shaft. Slow-speed agitation is driven by a separate motor and gearbox. Product Level Optional level controls are available to provide high/low detection of product in the hopper, with actuation to external equipment for re-supply. The control and sensor assembly are easily mounted in the hopper cover. Dispensing Control An optical shaft encoder provides 200 pulses per revolution to the controller for precise control of auger revolutions. Model B-350e with Keypad Interface All-Fill’s eld-proven semi-automatic auger llers excel in a wide variety of applications with virtually any type of product. Typical models consist of a sturdy cast aluminum head containing the drive components, and a stainless steel column mounted on a rugged aluminum column. Controls offered include a variety of PLC-based packages, which can consist of a keypad or touchscreen operator interface. All-Fill’s semi- automatic models can be seamlessly integrated with packaging equipment such as form- ll-seal machines, cup llers, and thermoformers. They can also be used for stand alone bench- top lling. Standard con gurations can be easily adapted to individual requirements. Specifcation Summary

Optional Open Support Frame (shown above) can be used in place of the standard oor base that comes with our semi-automatic auger llers. Height adjustment can be added to the frame instead of casters.
  • 6. 6 Model BS Pouch Filling System Semi-automatic ll-to-weight auger llers are used when a speci c, veri ed, weighed quantity of product is to be dispensed. All models include scales and loadcell components to determine accurate weight reading before, during, and after each ll cycle. Accessories such as bag clamps, roller conveyors, and lifts are implemented according to speci c customer requirements and constraints. Sophisticated feedback/feedforward controls allow for ll value adjustment, error correction, and accept/reject tolerance control. Did you know?   • 7. 7 Weighing Systems Separate oor/tabletop platform scale or combination bag clamp/loadcell scale assemblies for accurate weight control of containers and lled product. Fill-to-Weight Available Fill-to-Weight models include: Bulk & Dribble: Speci es lling and weighing in a two-stage ll cycle where the greater portion of product is dispensed and weighed, then lled again to a desired target weight. After the second dribble- ll, the container is weighed again and is categorized as acceptable, underweight, or overweight. Applications: High accuracy, low production rates, consistent product density. Semi-automatic operation; requires an operator. Setpoint: Speci es lling and weighing in a single stage ll where product is dispensed as its weight approaches a user- de ned target weight. Product is weighed at the end of ll and categorized as acceptable, underweight, and overweight. Applications: Moderate accuracy/moderate production rates (higher than Bulk & Dribble). Used with products that change density. Semi-automatic operation; requires an operator. Fill by Time: Speci es lling only; no weighing occurs. Product is dispensed for a user-speci ed ll time. Bypasses loadcell and encoder in case of failure/malfunction. Applications: Accuracy dependent on product density. High production rates. Capable of fully automatic operation without operator intervention. Allows production to continue with loadcell/encoder failures or malfunctions. Fill by Revolutions: Speci es lling only. No weighing occurs. Product is dispensed for a user-speci ed number of auger revolutions. Bypasses loadcell in cases of failure/malfunction. Applications: Accuracy dependent on product density. High production rates. Capable of fully automatic operation without operator intervention. Allows production to continue with loadcell failures or malfunctions. Model SHA Single Head Automatic Auger Filler Options Available options include, but are not limited to: • Slow-speed agitation with separate motor, reducing gearbox, and drive components. Includes stainless steel slow speed agitator blade. • Adjustable speed, jogging container vibrator to settle and distribute product in container • Pneumatic or hydraulic container lift to raise/lower container to funnel • Product cuto device with time/limit switch actuation • Raise/lower lling nozzle (air operated) • Container clamp to secure container during lling • Electronic scale for lling amount adjustment • O -line scale with feedback All-Fill’s automatic llers are designed for complete, continuous container transport, positioning, lling and discharge to the next stage in the packaging process. Automatic models combine a standard ll head with an integral conveyor to move containers. An indexing system mounted on the conveyor regulates container movement toward the lling position, centers each container for lling, and then moves the container away. Available in single or multiple head con gurations, automatic models can be equipped with a variety of accessories and options to suit particular container handling requirements or product characteristics.   • 10. 10 All-Fill’s multiple spindle auger systems provide controlled, multiple auger dispensing of product across production lines using cup machines, form- ll-seal equipment, thermoformers, and strip/ pouch machines. Filling positions can range from 3 to 12 (other positions available) across with a minimum center distance of 1 3/4” (various center distances available). Multiple spindle auger models are available in baseplate, cantilever, or overhead gantry mounting con gurations to best suit the equipment or application. Individual servo drives are independently adjusted. 360-degree agitation is available (3 - 1/2” centers and up). Multiple auger models can be mounted and installed onto production equipment at All-Fill for thorough integration and testing. (See System Integration - page 15).   • 12. 12 Fill Drive System Single or twin 2 HP drive motors with variable speed motor and heavy-duty clutch/brake per head. Drive system components are contained in the rugged case metal head. Container Handling Systems include one complete set of container handling parts, including: • Infeed and outfeed starwheels • Removable main starwheel segments • Outer guide rails • Timing screw and adapter • Infeed guide rails • Intermediate guide Vibration Variable frequency, variable amplitude square wave vibration to settle and distribute product into container during lling. Single Head 24 Station Rotary Filler Base Fully enclosed, painted mild steel base cabinet with removable access doors, stainless steel top, and mechanical jack to raise/lower ll head. Conveyor Stainless steel (Type 304) conveyor channel with acetyl at-top chain and variable speed AC drive motor with reducing gearbox, hain sprocketing, and drive components. Turret 12-45 positions (other positions available) xed turret assembly with divider plate and funnel carriage. Includes variable speed drive, turret jam protection, vacuum take-o ports at each ll position, turret safety shroud assembly with front access panels, and safety interlock switches. Container Positioning Infeed timing screw positions container at infeed. Removable starwheel moves containers to turret positions. All-Fill’s automatic rotary llers provide high throughput and speeds for even the most demanding production environments. Rotary auger lling systems operate continuously with product dispensed into funnels traveling on a circular, multi-position turret by an integral infeed conveyor. Timing screws and starwheel components space and position containers into the turret. Variable speed auger drives operate continuously to dispense product accurately. Product weight is easily adjusted by the operator or from checkweigher feedback signals, and production rates (CPM) are adjusted by varying turret speeds. Specifcation Summary

Indexed x-y adjustment handwheels and numeric dial indicators simplify setup for di erent containers and improves re-positioning.
  • 14. 14 These adaptable combination systems allow lling accuracy and productivity to be enhanced while avoiding the problems and incompatibilities encountered by joining lling and checkweighing components from separate sources. Weights detected by checkweighers in these models can be used as feedback that adjusts amounts dispensed at the ller. The mechanical con guration of accessories installed on auger llers for different types of products is presented here. Auger Funnel Collector Funnel Spinner Plate Accessories used with a particular lling machine will depend on a variety of factors, including product ow characteristics and density, lled amounts, container size and con guration, lling times and accuracy. Before making the nal selection and setup of accessories, the product and container should be tested to ensure that the machine ful lls your requirements.
