This document describes a Raspberry Pi weather station project. It uses a Raspberry Pi to measure humidity, temperature, and pressure. The data is displayed on an LCD screen and sent to an internet server, allowing remote monitoring of weather conditions. Potential future applications are monitoring weather in hazardous areas like volcanoes or forests, and helping farmers optimize crop production based on real-time weather data. It proposes an automated IoT-based system that does not require manual labor or infrastructure like data centers.

5. Raspberry PI
• The Raspberry Pi is a low cost, credit-card sized computer that plugs
into a computer monitor or TV, and uses a standard keyboard and
mouse. It is a capable little device that enables people of all ages to
explore computing, and to learn how to program in languages like
Scratch and Python.
• Humidity, Temperature and Pressure are three basic parameters to
build any Weather Station and to measure environmental conditions.
Humidity, Temperature and Pressure parameters on the LCD as well on
the Internet server using Raspberry Pi, which makes it a Raspberry Pi
Weather Station.

11. Future Scope
• It doesn’t need of any data centers physically because if a
data server is created in Cloud, then it doesn’t require any
data center further.
• The IoT weather reporting system has an application for
farmers where they can ensure higher productivity of crops
and lower the risk of weather hazards via the IoT weather.
• The IoT-based weather station proves helpful for monitoring
the weather in areas like places with volcanoes or rain
forests. This is especially important with drastic changes in
the weather conditions we are experiencing.
• The IoT weather monitoring system using IoT supporting
controllers is fully automated and efficient. It does not
require any manual labor or attention.
• You can plan and visit the places anytime you like with prior
notification of the weather conditions. You can simply get the
status of the weather condition and the air quality.
