Bharti Airtel acquires Telenor India for free in an all-stock deal to gain additional spectrum and subscribers. The acquisition will strengthen Airtel's position against competitors like Jio and the proposed Vodafone-Idea merger. Telenor will exit the Indian market as business had become unsustainable due to Jio's disruptive pricing. Airtel will pay Rs. 1,600 crore over 10 years for spectrum and Telenor will service its own debt. The consolidation in the industry is being driven by competitive pressures in the wake of Jio's market entry.
This document provides a summary of a summer training report submitted by Narendra Kumar Koli to the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management about a study on customer satisfaction at Bharti Airtel Limited. The 3-page summary includes an overview of Bharti Airtel's business areas, products and services, competitors in the telecom market, and objectives of the study. It also reviews literature on topics like customer satisfaction, tools for measuring satisfaction, and the importance of relationship marketing for Bharti Airtel's success.
Bharti Airtel launched cellular services in India in 1995 and has since expanded to multiple regions. It has grown through joint ventures, including with SingTel and British Telecom. Airtel offers cellular and home services, and has launched products like Airtel Blackberry and Airtel Digital TV. Its vision is to provide global telecom services and delight customers.
Bharti Airtel is acquiring Telenor India. This will boost Airtel's spectrum holdings and subscriber base. The deal gives Airtel an additional 43.4 MHz of spectrum in the 1800 MHz band, which will strengthen its 4G services. It will also add 52.5 million subscribers from Telenor's operations in seven Indian circles. The acquisition positions Airtel strongly against competitors like Jio as consolidation in the Indian telecom market continues.
This document provides a summary of a dissertation submitted by Kapil Kumar to fulfill requirements for a postgraduate diploma program. Kapil conducted primary research through a questionnaire with 80 respondents and secondary research using Airtel's website, newspapers, and the internet. The objective was to determine what type of impact Airtel ads have on viewers and what changes Airtel could make to advertisements in the future.
Vodafone India is the second largest mobile network operator in the country. It was founded in 1984 as a public limited telecommunication company incorporated in England. In 2007, Vodafone acquired a 67% controlling stake in Hutch Essar for $11.1 billion. Vodafone India is headquartered in Mumbai and has over 184 million customers as of 2015, with a 22.95% market share in India.
The document summarizes the major cellular service providers operating in India. It discusses Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, and Reliance, describing their technologies, ownership structures, operations, and growth. Airtel is the largest provider by subscribers while Vodafone, Idea, and Reliance have also expanded significantly nationwide through acquisitions and partnerships.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like
Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems

Changes in vegetation cover refer to variations in the distribution, composition, and overall
structure of plant communities across different temporal and spatial scales. These changes can
occur natural.

How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.

16. 1.1.2 Vodafone
Company Beginnings Original Corporate Logo of Vodafone.
Vodafone itself was formed in 1982 as a joint venture between Racal Electronics plc's
subsidiary Racal Strategic Radio Ltd (who won one of two UK cellular telephone network
licences) along with Millicom and the Hambros Technology Trust. In this arrangement Racal
owned 80%, Millicom 15% and Hambros 5%. The network was known as Racal Vodafone,
with the Vodafone name being derived from the firm's goal of establishing a voice and data
services over cellular telecommunication networks. Hence VO represented voice and DA
symbolized data — yielding the name Vodafone.
Vodafone was launched on 1 January 1985 and later that year Racal Strategic Radio was
renamed Racal Telecommunications Group Limited in 1985. A year later, on 29 December
1986 Racal Electronics bought out the minority shareholders of Vodafone for GB£110
million. In September 1988 the company was again renamed Racal Telecom and on 26
October 1988 Racal Electronics floated 20% of the company — a flotation that valued Racal
Telecom at GB£1.7 billion. On 16 September 1991 Racal Telecom was demerged from Racal
Electronics as Vodafone Group and the mobile telephony giant was born.
During the mix 1990s Vodafone began to consolidate itself on the British high-street. In July
1996 Vodafone acquired the two thirds of Talkland it did not already own for £30.6 million.
On 19 November 1996, in a defensive move, Vodafone purchased Peoples Phone for £77
million, a 181 store chain whose customers were overwhelmingly using Vodafone's network.
In a similar move the company acquired the 80% of Astec Communications that it did not
own, a service provider with 21 stores. This made Vodafone a very visible presence on the
British high street and significantly increased the company's share of UK mobile customers.
New Corporate Logo of Vodafone as of 1997.
In 1997 Vodafone introduced its new corporate Speechmark logo. This represents a quotation
mark within a circle. With the 'O's in the Vodafone logotype being opening and closing
quotation marks, suggesting conversation.
