• The countryside depends on the towns for technology and education while the
city depends on the countryside for food supply.
 The pictures comes from a fable called ( The town Mouse and the Country Mouse )
Once upon a time, there were two mice
who were cousins. One lived in the town
and the other in the country. The Town
Mouse was a very superior mouse, who
thought that living in the town was far
better than living in the country.
So, one day, as he was enjoying a nice dinner,
he decided to invite his country cousin to stay
with him in his town house to experience the
civilized lifestyle of the town. So, he sent an
invitation and then waited for his cousin to
come and visit.
When the Country Mouse arrived, the Town
Mouse had already prepared everything for a
lovely meal. They sat down to the meal, which
to the Country Mouse was a feast. ‘Goodness
me,’ he said, ‘if I had stayed in the country
today, I would be having only simple bread
and cheese in the quiet of my peaceful home.’
They had been eating for a few minutes
when suddenly there was a loud noise at the
door. ‘Don’t worry,’ said the Town Mouse, ‘that’s
just my neighbor, the dog; he wants to join us for
dinner.’ The Country Mouse ate a little faster.
Another noise was heard outside, even louder
this time. ‘Oh dear,’ said the Town Mouse, ‘the
cat who lives facing my house wants to join us
too.’ Quickly eating the last of his meal, the
Country Mouse said, ‘Thank you, but I think I
will return to the peace and quiet of my own
house after all!’ Then he ran back home as fast as
his legs could carry him.
It is better to live safely with little than
to live richly with danger !
Simply it means olden times style is
being mixed with a little modern style .

One day, Tommy the town mouse decided that he would be inviting would invite his cousin, Chris the country
mouse, to come and visit him. Tommy visited had visited his cousin a few weeks ago, so he thought it was a polite
thing to do. He decided to send him an e-mail. When he wrote had written the e-mail, he remembered that his
country cousin didn’t have a car, so he also told him how to get to his house from the station. The country mouse
was very happy to get the invitation, because he thought had been thinking about going to town for a while but it
was very expensive to sleep in a hotel, so he could stay with his cousin the town mouse and save some money.
The country mouse didn’t like spending money, and so he decided to go to town by bus. But his mobile phone
had run out of battery, and his alarm didn’t ring, so he slept in and missed the bus. ‘Oh dear,’ he thought ‘now I
will have to take the train.’ While he was walking to the station, Carl Cat had been driving drove up beside him in
his Porsche. ‘Are you going to town?’ he purred. ‘If you like, I can take you. I am going there too.’ The country
mouse thought for a minute. He didn’t trust Carl Cat very much because he tried he had tried to eat his girlfriend,
but that was a long time ago, and it would save him some money. So he was getting got into the car. The town
mouse was waiting had been waiting for hours when he decided to go to his front door and see if he could see
his cousin. While he was waiting, his neighbor Carl Cat drove up in his new car. ‘Hello Carl,’ he said, ‘have you seen
my cousin, the country mouse?’ ‘Why no,’ said Carl, licking his lips, ‘I haven’t.’ And the moral of the story is: never
trust a cat in a red Porsche.
