This document describes the Agroecology Plus Six (AE+6) project, which aims to strengthen the resilience of small-scale farmers in the drylands of the Sahel region of Africa. The project will work in Senegal, Mali, and Burkina Faso to promote agroecological practices and strengthen the capacities of communities and local institutions. It takes an integrated approach focusing on agroecology, gender equity, nutrition, and disaster risk reduction. The project seeks to benefit 15,000 people through improving farming systems, empowering women, enhancing nutrition, and building local governance capacities.
