The document discusses AT&T's investment in small cell technology. It describes small cells as low-power wireless access points that provide improved cellular coverage and capacity. AT&T plans to deploy over 40,000 small cells by 2015 as part of its network densification efforts to meet growing customer demand. Small cells are presented as a flexible and cost-effective solution for enhancing coverage in both indoor and outdoor environments like offices, stadiums, and public spaces. The document shares results from initial small cell deployment trials and lessons learned.
Future of Broadband workshop presentation - ITU Telecom World 2013Martin Geddes
Is "bandwidth" the right resource model for broadband? This presentation suggests that the telecoms industry is in a death spiral because it has fundamentally misunderstood the nature of the resource it offers. In its place it offers a "quality" model that has the properties we desire, and enables us to properly match supply to demand.

With the growing popularity of X-Reality (VR/AR/MR) generation of global media-data is expected to accelerate at much higher rate. Most of these data need real-time processing such as real-time facial features/emotion recognition to environmental context recognition/mapping beyond the capabilities of an MR glass. The demand for high communication bandwidth and ultra-low latency (<15ms motion to photon latency) will drive the community to exploit the capabilities of the telco edge nodes and push telcos to build more powerful edge nodes. The real-time analytics of media data with strict real-time constraints will be the ‘killer application’ of 5G networks and edge computing. In addition, we believe, multimedia analytics and 5G/edge computing will be the key to push for mass adoption of XR devices. In this talk, we will explore some suitable media analytics methods and architecture to run media analytics with the 5G edge nodes.

Xceltra is the unique solution provider of Robust Communications into the MENA region; founded from the UAE with extensive experience in designing and offering Industrial Grade Networking solutions for Harsh Environments.
Mobile operators and wireless service providers alike are consistently under pressure to provide faster wireless data services, thanks to the proliferation of smart phones. The last decade has seen a phenomenal increase in the number of wireless subscribers connected via a wide range of wireless broadband technologies. In this talk the state of existing and future wireless broadband technologies in the Malaysia such as WiMAX, HSPA, LTE, WLAN/WiFi and their evolutions will be discussed. This talk will also introduce in layman terms some of the major technological breakthroughs in the antenna systems such as Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO), Space Time Coding (STC) and Beamforming (BF) that contribute to multiple folds increase in wireless data rate and range in recent years. The common questions or misunderstandings about wireless technology such as what is true 4G? Why am I not getting the speed as advertised? Why is my upload speed always lower than my download? etc, will be explained along the way. The talk will then look into the future of wireless broadband such as what is 5G? what are the expectations and how can we achieve them? Will futuristic wireless communication technologies or paradigms such as Cognitive Radio and Internet of Things be a big part of it?

DakNet is an ad hoc network which uses wireless technology to provide digital connectivity.
DakNet takes advantages of the existing transportation and communication infrastructure to provide digital connectivity. DakNet offers a cost-effective network for data connectivity in regions lacking communications infrastructure. Instead of trying to relay data over long distances, which can be expensive, DakNet transmits data over short point-to-point links between kiosks and portable storage devices called Mobile Access Points (MAP). My name is Magdalena Guerra and I sign my art as MAY. I am a Colombian artist and I live in Miami, Florida.
Ever since I was young, I had a passion for art . As I grew older, I would draw as I did other actvities. I studied art in the Casa de la Cultura de San Andres Isla, Colombia. I also studied Architect and Design.
I am married to Francisco Correa. He is an American citizien and a leather- crafter. He showed me his ways with leather and with his knowledge of this material, we created different techniques with paint and variety of textures on the leather. And with our combination, I present to you my art.
In nature, my inspiration is the view of the tropical, where I was raised. I recreate the animal life undersea that I knew when I lived in the Carribean. Now, having the opportunity to visit most of the United States, I paint the scenaries inspired by the different seasons of the coast, the rocky mountains, the variety of animals, landscapes, and the deserts.
I also love painting the human figure, especially the eyes where they reflect emotions and essence.
An important characteristic of my art is that it is developed in one peice of leather which includes the painting and the frame.
Scalable Small Cell System with Dual Band, Multi-ModeRonny Haraldsvik
Announced on November 4, 2013 - the new Small Cell supports both LTE and HSPA voice and 3G data simultaneously. "SpiderCloud has already established an early lead in indoor mobile networking. Now it’s hoping to extend that lead in the age of 4G networking with a small cell that can support multiple wireless technologies." (C) Gigaom

NB-IoT WiKi
NB-IoT (Narrowband IoT) is a low-power technology designed for Internet of Things (IoT) applications and other low-data rate communication requirements.
It uses narrowband radio spectrum and advanced power management techniques to efficiently utilize the available spectrum and extend the battery life of IoT devices.
NB-IoT is based on LTE cellular wireless technology and has been standardized by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) as the global wireless communication standard for IoT applications.
Narrow Band Internet of Things concept and role
Narrow Band Internet of Things (NB-IoT) is an important branch of the Internet of Everything, also known as Narrowband-IoT.
Built on cellular networks, likes Lora, is one of the technologies of Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN), Narrow Band Internet of Things supports long standby times, consumes only about 180kHz of bandwidth, and can be deployed directly on GSM networks, UMTS networks, or LTE networks to reduce deployment costs and enable smooth upgrades.
Narrow Band Internet of Things (NB-IoT) requires efficient connectivity for high network connectivity devices. Narrow Band Internet of Things (NB-IoT) devices can increase battery life by at least 10 years, while also providing very comprehensive coverage of indoor cellular data connections.
LTE ebook No 7 - Guide to radio access placement for better coverage & capaci...David Swift
Part of a series of 7 ebooks explaining varrious aspect of LTE deployment and marketing in plain English for marketeers, business planners, network planners and mobile Operator management teams etc
The cellular IoT is a method of connecting physical devices (sensors, etc.) to the Internet, and transmits physical devices (sensors, etc.) on the same mobile network as smartphones. With its simple infrastructure and the advent of 5G, the Cellular IoT has become a strong participant in the field of connectivity.
The cellular network connects your iPhone to WeChat, Weibo, and Douyin and spreads your voice in the air. But the days of just wanting to connect with friends and family are gone.
Now you can also see the value of connecting with surrounding physical objects such as street lights, parking fee systems, hospitals that occupy everyday urban life, or myriad industrial applications (such as manufacturing and agriculture). All of these can strengthen the connection. ..
Ericsson predicts that the total number of connected IoT devices will exceed 20 billion in 2023. Specifically, the number of IoT devices connected via LTE and 5G exceeds 3.5 billion, mainly in China and Northeast Asia.
The key challenging factor facing the wireless market today is the fact that there's not enough wireless capacity in densely populated areas. GE Critical Power offer Distributed Antenna System (DAS) & Small Cell Networks as the solution.

• Two shades of red were used due to the fading of the boxes on one

• The Kansas City Chiefs also required a mock up to see how the new
boxes compared to the existing boxes.

The “green” color indicates that the network become unified allowing spectrums to support any protocol/purpose. Note: Our most recent (December 2011) agreements with Clearwire allow for continued use of WiMAX at 2.5 into 2016 and options for input and use of LTE at 2.5 GHz as they build that network. Combined with Sprint’s LTE offering at 1900 MHz, this partnership will allow for a robust 4G portfolio offering both reach and capacity.
