This document discusses three mechanical properties of aggregates: aggregate crushing value, aggregate impact value, and aggregate abrasion value. It describes the test procedures for each, which involve applying loads or impacts to samples and measuring the amount of material passing through a sieve. Ideal values are provided, with aggregate crushing value and impact value not exceeding 45% for most concrete and 30% for wearing surfaces, and aggregate abrasion value not exceeding 16%. These tests give measures of an aggregate's resistance to crushing, impact, and abrasion.
