This document discusses reasons why Christians may be afraid to share the gospel, such as rejection, embarrassment, or feeling inadequate. It notes that if one is afraid, Satan has them where he wants them. It encourages readers not to fear by noting that God is powerful and will help strengthen believers. Several Bible passages are referenced to show that with God's help, believers have nothing to fear in sharing their faith and the gospel is powerful.
Overcoming Strongholds is another struggle Christians go through as they are entangled to the pleasures of the world. Satan brings lies about themselves, about others and about God. Believeing these lies create a stronghold and reinforcing the lie leads them away from God. Real freedom includes overcoming the strongholds in our spiritual life. Be Blessed!

At the Well is a weekend group whose purpose is to give those having participated in Encounter or Support and Recovery Groups a next step into community; however, anyone may attend and all are welcomed. It is a challenging–and safe — place for the hurting and broken in spirit who long to experience lasting healing and soul satisfying contentment. We address real life issues with topics on compulsions, trust, true love, loneliness, grace, forgiveness, bitterness, hope, self-control, joy vs. happiness, self-examination, beliefs, true intimacy, worship, transformation, brokenness, and fear.
In this lesson we examine what love does not do and in particular envy. How the church at Corinth struggled with envy and the devastating effects of envy if it goes unchecked. Both audio and slides can be found at www.cmcoc.org

My Grace Doctrinal Disagreement with Pastor Joseph SelmanLoveLoGo Ltd
Pastor Joseph Selman sees the Gospel of Grace as incomplete without "The Gospel of the Kingdom". However, I believe that this misses the point and conflates categories.
Jesus preached the "good news of the Kingdom of God" but that in no way is superior to Paul's focus on "the good news of Grace". I dare to say that they are equally complementary scopes of understanding.

Sermon by: Brian Birdow w
Faith is a muscle that must be exercised. If you don’t use it, you lose it! When you do not operate in faith you are subject to the attack of satan. You must understand that warfare is in your mind (between your ears). Be careful of opening your body up to demonic imitation: The devil gets in through sin/disobedience. The devils aim is to attack your mind, so you must be mindful of how you guard your thoughts.
Forgiveness is the key to most of the spiritual problems we face as Christians. God's love within us presses us to forgive others without conditions. unforgiving spirit is always restless and have no peace within. Be a forgiver Be in freedom! Be Blessed!

Renewed in Grace
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

3. If you are afraid of sharing the gospel
•Satan has you right where he wants you
•Rev. 2:10 - 10 Do not fear any of those things which you
are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to
throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested,
and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until
death, and I will give you the crown of life.
•You have not been perfected in love
•1 John 4:18 - 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love
casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he
who fears has not been made perfect in love.
4. Is. 41:1-4 (Judge God’s Power)
•In context Isaiah is comparing those that
worship idols verses those that worship the true

Word has been all powerful for every generation. -
Rom. 1:16
5. Is. 41:5-7 (The Fearful Craftsmen)
•The craftsman, afraid of God’s power, is
encouraging the goldsmith to work harder
• Instead of surrendering to their situation, they instead
create more and more idols
•The Christian, afraid of sharing the gospel, will work
hard to stay away from the opportunities God has given
to him or her
• Instead of surrendering to the situation, they instead will
create more and more excuses
• This will encourage other Christians to create excuses as
well
