This document provides an overview of the Final Workshop proceedings for the FP6 research project 'Advanced In Flight Measurement Techniques' (AIM). The project aimed to test and demonstrate optical measurement techniques during flight testing, including Quantitative Visualization, Image Pattern Correlation Technique, Background Oriented Schlieren Method, LIght Detection And Ranging, Particle Image Velocimetry, Pressure Sensitive Paint, and Infrared Thermography. Significant effort was required to adapt these techniques for certification requirements and ensure low vibration levels during camera installation and post-processing. Developing seeding systems for open-field PIV and LIDAR measurements was also challenging. Several techniques proved successful, including using clouds as particles for PIV/
