4. Residency for Tuition Purposes
What is it?
The tuition amount due for the classes enrolled is determined by the residency classification
All students who apply online will be admitted as non-Florida residents until the student
provides the required documentation
Must be submitted before first day of term
Accepted if submitted on or before drop with 100% refund date
Required Documentation
Valid immigration documents
Two documents showing proof of residency for the past 12 months in the state of Florida
5. Admissions Checklist
New Application
● Pay admissions fee - $30
● Provide proof of Florida residency
● Submit high school transcripts
● Testing
● Orientation
Readmission
● Provide proof of Florida residency
● Submit College/University transcripts if declared on the application
8. Waivers
DACA Waiver
● Provide work permit with form I-821D (Approval for Deferred Action)
● Submit waiver with class schedule for every semester
Out of State High School Waiver
● Must have attended a Florida high school for the last three consecutive years immediately
before graduation from a Florida high school
● Submit an official high school transcripts
● Submit an admission application to a Florida College System or State University System
institution within 24 months of high school graduation
● Submit waiver with class schedule for every semester
9. Transcripts

Original diploma with correct seals submitted to Admissions office
If seal is missing, must be evaluated by a NACES Agency
