In this session, Aneesh will share his perspective on why we are entering the golden era of IT-fueled care delivery innovation, and issue a call to action for developers and designers to put the emerging open API standards to work in helping consumers taking a more active role in navigating the health care delivery system. He will offer a pragmatic path to build the necessary foundation for organizing, enriching and (securely) sharing patient health data, including taking full advantage of the emerging “health internet,” efforts worth advancing even amidst this period of policy uncertainty.
