Additional revenues streams
In order to enhance our current revenues streams hence better reduction of
the deficit or yet elemenat it. The CAC has significant assets “ the human
capital” which could be utilized along with our fixed assets to generate
income. An example is the middle school old building that could be used as
continuing education and Study groups center for students and adults after
school hours.
CAC has excellent academic reputation and located in the heart of Maadi thus
could offer many open courses (i.e. SAT & GEMAT and TOEFEl preparations,
Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, French, Arabic……etc) for the
community and the society in Cairo.
In-order to get better results, we need to conduct a market study (i.e.
competitions, available courses, hourly tuition rates , hours of
operations…..etc).
Summary of the proposed program
Each teacher or instructor propose an academic course he/she is willing to
teach and committed to have during the school year.
Each teacher could teach between 2 to 6 hours each week/per his/her choice
We Open the course with at least 4 students
Each classroom is used by different teachers, . so teachers and groups can
rotate on the same classroom, classroom is always in use.
Courses such (math in it’s branches, , English, Sat, GEMAT,....) could be
offered
CAC would use to generated income(tuition paid for the extra help) to keep
jobs and for the school budget to cover the deficit.
The cost an hour taught by CAC teacher could be varied between $35-$60 ( a
survey could give us the latest rate)
CAC could pay the teachers and instructor like $500-$1000 and rest of the
tuition would be income to cover the deficit.
The expected benefits,( benefits could be less or more depending on the
number of classes and number of students and rate/hr)
We use around 30 classrooms
Work about 4 hours after school each night
30 classes X 4hr X $100(Could be $500 for 20 Students) = $12000/night
$12000 X 5nights =$60000/week
10 Classes X 6 hr X $50 (Could be $500 for 20 Students) = $3000 Saturday
3000 X 4/Saturdays= $12000/month
$ 240000 + $20000 = $300000/Month
The building needs to be cleaned
Each classroom has to have a white board
The old desks or tables and chairs in the store could be used
No need to paint this year or add any costs
Teachers could use their laptops
The old LCD are in the elementary lab could be hang it up again in the old MS
Building
The corner gate could be opened after 4:00-8:00 for the students to come to
their classrooms
There is already a fence which could be higher for protection of our
elementary building and field.
How to get to the Market
Small brochure and on the school web site, announcement to the community,
the students will be bring their relatives and neighbors to enroll in the
program.
All parents love to have the chance for the kids to be taught by our
experienced faculty and staff.
If open the ground floor for elementary and Middle school age to enhance the
language technology … we could recover in less than two years our deficit.
