This document summarizes a final project analyzing whether living distance is correlated with GPA for Western Michigan University students. The authors surveyed 100 students on their GPA, hometown distance from WMU, and whether they lived on/off campus or in/out of state. Graphs of the data showed most students lived in Michigan and off campus. Tests found no significant difference in average GPA between in-state and out-of-state students or between on-campus and off-campus students, so the authors concluded the sample size was too small to show any correlation between living distance and GPA.
