This preachingeventuallyled herto establishan
organizationin asmall townofOlivete, Bongabon,Nueva
Ecijaandwasresided until 1960’s.

3. History
Founded by Candida Balantac, a native
from San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, referred
to as “INANG ADARNA”, “MAESTRA” and
“ESPIRITU SANTO” by her followers.
10,000 followers in La Union, Isabela,
Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, and Baguio City.
Now, 20,000 followers in Tarlac, Nueva
Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya, Pangasinan,
Zambales, Ilocus Sur, and even Manila.
Her followers believed that she was
an "engkantada" (enchanted one)
and claimed that a rainbow is
formed (like Ibong Adarna) around
Balantac while she preached, giving
her the title "Inang Adarna" and
the organization's name, Ardanista.
Candida is the head of the sect, with Alfredo
Salvador, Felipe Baldonado and Danny Sibat
as her right hand men.
4. Rizal is a god of the Filipino people, a
true god and true man.
Rizal was not executed as has been
mentioned by historians.
Man has a soul, therefore he is capable
of doing good.
Heaven and hell exists and both are
“within us.”
Nueva Ecija is the New Jerusalem.

Paghuhugas (washing) - onMaundy Thursday,
bathing in the sulfuric "River Jordan" spring.
Sakripisyo - on Good Friday, attracts some 5000
followers from nearby provinces.
Massesare held everyWednesday and Sunday, at 7:00 in
the morning and lasts up to two hours.
Special religious ceremoniesconducted onRizal’s
birthday and his death anniversary which start with the
raising of the Filipino flag.
