WHAT IS ADAPTIVE LEADERSHIP?
• It is an act of mobilize a group of people to work hard and getting success at the
end.
•Adaptive leadership recognizes that there are two
types of problem, technical and adaptive.
•In technical problems a satisfactory response is
already available and experts with solid reputation
are trying to get the solutions of the problems.
Technical problems are mechanical and can be
solved by individual.
• In adaptive problems no experts are available to solve the
problems and no rules are defined how to deal with the
issues. Mostly the problems are vague and there are no
way to fix the problem technically. In these situations the
expertise become useful. To get rid of problems the
individual first defines the problems to the members and
get the possible solution after the discussion.
FOUR MAIN PRINCIPLES OF
ADAPTIVE LEADERSHIP
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
•This is the ability to understand the feelings and
emotions of individuals and team members and
with this ability to understand emotions an
adaptive leader can create trust on other team
members and build strong relationships.
ORGANIZATIONAL JUSTICE
• An important function of adaptive leadership is to
promote the culture of honesty in the organization.
Adaptive leaders knows the best policies for the good of
an organization. They knows the best ways to introduce
changes in the workplace so other can easily adopt
them. Adaptive leaders listens and use other people
views and make them feel that they are important too.
DEVELOPMENT
• Adaptive leadership helps to learn new things. If one
way of working not works then the adaptive leaders
thinks and tries to find different new ways to finish the
work. With getting new ways of working and experience,
both the organization and employees can find new ways
of growth and development.
CHARACTER
• Adaptive leadership is about having a deep sense of
character, being transparent and creative. Adaptive
leaders may not be right always but they earn respect
with those who are they working with because they
listen to them and try to practice what they recommend.

  • 2. WHAT IS ADAPTIVE LEADERSHIP? • It is an act of mobilize a group of people to work hard and getting success at the end.
  • 3. •Adaptive leadership recognizes that there are two types of problem, technical and adaptive. •In technical problems a satisfactory response is already available and experts with solid reputation are trying to get the solutions of the problems. Technical problems are mechanical and can be solved by individual.
  • 4. • In adaptive problems no experts are available to solve the problems and no rules are defined how to deal with the issues. Mostly the problems are vague and there are no way to fix the problem technically. In these situations the expertise become useful. To get rid of problems the individual first defines the problems to the members and get the possible solution after the discussion.

  • 7. EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE •This is the ability to understand the feelings and emotions of individuals and team members and with this ability to understand emotions an adaptive leader can create trust on other team members and build strong relationships.
  • 8. ORGANIZATIONAL JUSTICE • An important function of adaptive leadership is to promote the culture of honesty in the organization. Adaptive leaders knows the best policies for the good of an organization. They knows the best ways to introduce changes in the workplace so other can easily adopt them. Adaptive leaders listens and use other people views and make them feel that they are important too.
  • 9. DEVELOPMENT • Adaptive leadership helps to learn new things. If one way of working not works then the adaptive leaders thinks and tries to find different new ways to finish the work. With getting new ways of working and experience, both the organization and employees can find new ways of growth and development.
  • 10. CHARACTER • Adaptive leadership is about having a deep sense of character, being transparent and creative. Adaptive leaders may not be right always but they earn respect with those who are they working with because they listen to them and try to practice what they recommend.
