3. Acts 26:19-20
The Gospel Told
19 “Therefore, O King Agrippa, I was not
disobedient to the heavenly vision, 20
but declared first to those in Damascus,
then in Jerusalem and throughout all the
region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles,
that they should repent and turn to God,
performing deeds in keeping with their
repentance.
4. Acts 26:21-23
The Gospel Told
21 For this reason the Jews seized me in the
temple and tried to kill me. 22 To this day I
have had the help that comes from God, and
so I stand here testifying both to small and
great, saying nothing but what the prophets
and Moses said would come to pass: 23 that
the Christ must suffer and that, by being the
first to rise from the dead, he would
proclaim light both to our people and to the
Gentiles.”
5. Acts 26:24-26
Objection Rebuffed
24 And as he was saying these things in his
defense, Festus said with a loud voice, “Paul,
you are out of your mind; your great learning is
driving you out of your mind.” 25 But Paul said,
“I am not out of my mind, most excellent Festus,
but I am speaking true and rational words. 26
For the king knows about these things, and to
him I speak boldly. For I am persuaded that none
of these things has escaped his notice, for this
has not been done in a corner.
6. Acts 26:27-29
Invitation Given
27 King Agrippa, do you believe the
prophets? I know that you believe.” 28
And Agrippa said to Paul, “In a short time
would you persuade me to be a
Christian?” 29 And Paul said, “Whether
short or long, I would to God that not
only you but also all who hear me this
day might become such as I am—except
for these chains.”
8. Background
Last week we talked about the
importance of your testimony and how
God uses us as instruments to influence
others.
What is your testimony?

8 But you will receive power when the
Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you

all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of
the earth.”

Every time we use a resource, we make a
decision, and that decision reveals what kind
of stewards we are.
14. Biblical Stewardship
Act of Obedience
Proverbs 3:9-10 (ESV Strong's)
9 Honor the Lord with your wealth and
with the first fruits of all your produce;10
then your barns will be filled with plenty,
and your vats will be bursting with wine.
15. Biblical Stewardship
Act of Sacrifice
Mark 12:41-44 (ESV Strong's)
41 And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched
the people putting money into the offering box. Many
rich people put in large sums. 42 And a poor widow
came and put in two small copper coins, which make
a penny. 43 And he called his disciples to him and said
to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put
in more than all those who are contributing to the
offering box. 44 For they all contributed out of their
abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in
everything she had, all she had to live on.”
16. Biblical Stewardship
It’s a Matter of Trust
Psalms 24:1-2 (ESV Strong's)
The earth is the Lord's and the fullness
thereof, the world and those who dwell
therein, 2 for he has founded it upon
the seas and established it upon the
rivers.
