Assistance Center in Poarta Albă.
WE CARE FOR THOSE AROUND US
3. WE OFFER SMILES!
Step by Step 2nd grade students don't stop doing good deeds. Their goal was to bring a smile
to the face of an older colleague, a high school student, who had a hard life. Although
confined to a wheelchair, Zafer Öztürkan is a creative young man who has not succumbed to
life's difficulties. His book, "Poetic hugs", reached the hands of young students, who wanted
to participate, a little, in the costs of the recovery program that he follows by purchasing it.
There were warm hugs, smiles and many autographs.
4. The adventurers of the Step-by-step Preparatory class want to let the world better than they
found it through their deeds. Thus, in December 2023, they collected toys, clothes, non-
perishable food and many sweets to bring smiles to the faces of children in great financial
difficulties. The family, consisting of 10 members (2 adults and 8 children, 5 boys and 3 girls)
had carefree holidays, because the adventurers and their helpers, the Elf mothers, took care of
the gifts getting under the Christmas tree, and the table be enriched.
5. I AM A HAPPY CHILD! The students of class VII A debated on the basis of a ppt
presentation about the rights and duties of children, in society in general and in school in
particular, they played educational games, which reflect the well-being of children, when there
is respect, tolerance, understanding, selected examples of violations of children's rights,
mirrored in literature, created quintets and acrostics - FRIENDSHIP AND HARMONY and
finally created a thematic leaflet that will be multiplied and distributed in the school.
6. THE WEEK OF DONATED FRUIT AND VEGETABLES
The students of our school, from both primary and secondary classes, gathered and
collected, with the support of parents and the teaching staff, 1389 kg of vegetables, 567.5 kg
of fruit and other food products. These were donated to the Church of St. Peter and Paul in
Medgidia, the Petre and Maria Toma Foundation - Medgidia, the Social Assistance of the
Medgidia Town Hall, the residents of the Adult Care and Assistance Center in Poarta Albă,
the "Delfinul" Placement Center - Constanța, some families in difficulty, with 8 and 6
children respectively from our town and some students from our school with a precarious
situation, both financially and socially. Presenting these situations to students, their
involvement in helping needy families, children and the elderly in care centers, helps a lot to
develop the social skills of solidarity and unity. By teaching them to give, we teach them to
be more understanding, kinder, we help them feel that special emotion of being useful.

That is why the students of the 5th grade C joined the Campaign "Donated fruits and
vegetables week" offering 59.5 kg of fruits and vegetables to the Church of St. Apostles Peter
and Paul. Thus, by contributing to the welfare of society, children have a sense of
achievement, and this increases their self-esteem. They also develop a sense of responsibility
and understand the importance of giving back to society.

their younger classmate, realizing the good they are doing, collected a sum of money, which

from the "Delfinul" School Center for Inclusive Education. The activity, entitled "This
Christmas, be better!" it consisted in making Christmas cards and Christmas trees for the
realization of which they related, they cooperated. At the end of the meeting, our students
