Who we are
Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai is a part of Business Empowerment
Wing of Mai Marathi Sanstha formed in 2006. Swayamsiddha Foundation
works exclusively in the field of Self Employment & Self Help Groups
(SHGs). It has evolved as a prime organization in SHG sector with a
decade of field level experience.
Swayamsiddha Foundation organizes various programmes and events for
the empowerment of Women. It enrolls SHGs under its Mother NGO
Programme and acts as a friend, philosopher and a guide.
The organization also conducts several workshops for Educated
Unemployed Youths and motivate them to opt for Self Employment.
Various Initiatives
 Free Consultancy on Self Help Group (SHGs) over Phone to Members
of Swayamsiddha Foundation & General Public from all over the State.
 Disseminating information on topics like Marketing, Schemes,
Governent Policies, Project Report Preparation, Social Media etc to
Members of Swayamsiddha
 Mentoring Services provided to groups enrolled with Swayamsiddha
 Skill oriented Training which includes inputs on various aspects of
business and management as well.
 Handholding Services provided to groups engaged in business
activities
 MyShoppee - A Free Online Marketing platform for SHGs & Women
Entrepreneurs (Both Members & Non Members)

SHGs find it difficult to market their products & services due to various
factors like lack of funds, branding issues, insufficient knowledge of use of
technology etc. Keeping this in mind Swayamsiddha Foundation is working
on a Cluster Approach, wherein the product range would be same across all
SHGs. The issues related to standardization, marketing & branding would
be handled by the team of Swayamsiddha Foundation. Experts are being
consulted to fine-tune the entire model to make it sustainable.
As a part of this endavor, we have launched MyShoppee.in a free classified
advertisement portal for Exclusively for Women Entrepreneurs & SHGs.
Products and their details hosted on this website are displayed free of cost
and are circulated to general masses using various social media platforms.
Any Women Entrepreneur / SHG can avail this free service.
Business Opportunities
Business houses regularly approach Swayamsiddha Foundation with
various business / employment opportunities. These opportunities are
circulated to our members and are posted on our website for general public.
