created equal. Statistically speaking, the overwhelming majority of the seven billion humans on
earth will pass away as a member of the same socioeconomic class they began. In fact, society
predicates itself on living a better life than their family who came before. Society takes part in a
never ending race to further itself on a socioeconomic level from the generation before knowing

Oil and gas usage because of tar sands is now considered the largest source of greenhouse gas
emissions in Canada, which means it actually produces more greenhouse gas emissions in North
America than all the CO2 from vehicles. The tar sands create both a noxious air quality, and a
polluted water quality with bitumen (Greenpeace Canada; Semeniuk, 2016). This issue, in relation
to Canada, is most problematic at the Alberta tar sands. The scientific consensus on this issue is
that the tar sands not only has become one of the biggest emissions problems in Canada, but also

For my leadership rubric I choose diversity. Understanding the diversity of a group is essential to
creating a productive organization. Each person brings a history, culture, and a set of beliefs that
shaped them into who they are now. These differences should be celebrated, because differences

I grew up not being as exposed to the world of diversity. This is why I decided on level three,
questioning and self exploration. At this point I am aware of all the information that I lack on
certain subjects. Because of this revelation I actively search out information about race, religion,
sexual orientation, gender spectrum and general opinions over commonly discussed issues. I
believe that in this globalized world people do need to become more aware of the differences in
people in order to embrace humanity as a whole. The next step to becoming more culturally aware

The Ritz Carlton Hotel will inevitably have a negative impact on the environment due to its large
size, hence the considerable pollution and the waste which would be produced during its
construction and operation. Green house gas is a pollutant that being continually produced
throughout the entire life cycle of the hotel. Initially, transportation of construction material and
construction are both carbon dioxide high emitting activities. During the operation, the tourism
being brought about will also contribute to the green house emissions significantly. However, on
some level, the extensive area of vegetation covered nearby could compensate for the green house
gas being emitted.
Effluent is a typical waste that would be generated. It increases the chance of contamination to the
waters around the RCH, more specifically, the Parramatta River. The effect of effluent becomes
even more profound when the Parramatta River has not reached a swimmable level of cleanliness.
Habit destruction may occur after the completion of the RCH, where the booming development of
this second CBD may cause anthropogenic ecosystem change. For example, effluent emitted by the

Dangerous Game, The Cask of Amontillado, and The Sniper, the main characters are each faced

Researchers have been studying the causes and effects of contaminated water on human life. Water
is to be considered a major and important resource on the planet, but it can also be a major health
risk towards human life especially on young children. Young children are more vulnerable to
diseases because their immune systems are experiencing everything for the first time. These health
risks can include diarrhea, dental fluorosis, or toxicant. Diarrhea can be life threatening due to
fluid loss. In 1998, diarrhea was estimated to have killed 2.2 million people, most of whom were
under 5 years of age (WHO, 2000). It is more common when there is a shortage of clean water for
drinking. Dental fluorosis is a defect of the teeth marked by the increased porosity of the enamel.
The longer one has dental fluorosis the more their teeth begin to rotten and crumble. The water
sources that can be contaminated are ponds, lakes, seas, oceans, or reservoirs. All these sources are
what we use for drinking and bathing. But having clean water cannot be achieved everywhere.
Africa, especially, has a poor water quality. Africa does not have the resources for clean water like
