2. WEEK 1
SHOULD I SAY IT WAS FANTASTIC OR SHOULD I
SAY IT WAS MINDBLOWING, I LITERALLY FALL
SHORT OF WORDS TO DESCRIBE MY JOURNEY.
ALL MY BELIEFS TOWARD THE TESOL COURSE
CHANGED ON THE VERY FIRST DAY. I
THOROUGHLY ENJOYED ALL THE ACTIVITIES DONE
THROUGHOUT THE COURSE.

3. From warmer’s to theatrical activities
and from different theories and
methodologies to communicative
activity, everything was one of my
favourite and day by day all the
concept’s were getting clearer. By the
end of the week and after our first peer
teach i felt more confident and started
working on the feedback given.

4. WEEK 2
The second week
started with my very
first teaching practice
of my life in a
classroom. It was the
most memorable
experience i ever had
with all those mixed
feelings going inside
me and it gave me a
nice learning
experience.

5. It continued with the reading and
listening lessons which were
interesting. Though i was not able
to attend two sessions but i
somehow managed to give a fair
peer teach, following with my
second teaching practice. I was a
lot satisfied with the teaching
practice this time. I felt polished to
perfection after each day.

6. WEEK 3
I bloomed like
parijata by the
start of third
week.

7. I felt totally satisfied with my third teaching practice and got to learn many things
from the errors i made. I was not able to believe that it was me when i was
standing infront of the mirror. I learned how to have different faces according to
different situations, and that helped me to give a successful lesson.
The 12th day of the course was something that i will never forget. I never thought
that learning grammar can be so much of fun and so creative. And also the brief
knowledge about young learners/ adult learners and phonology. It was my
favourite session from the full course.

9. This learning experience as a whole was very different for me as my
profession is different and through this course i learned how to push myself
out of my comfort zone and can use all the teaching methods in my field.
All the credit goes to my lovely trainer JUNE as the way she teaches feels like
she is showering confetti on all of us. I have never seen a diligent teacher like
her in my life, and she surprised me with the feeling that teacher’s can be
WOW❤ The couse has not only helped me in being an effective teacher but
has also personified me. And from many other things which i learned from
june, this one inked my heart that WE COMPLICATE THINGS, KEEP IT SIMPLE.
These three weeks were equivalent to three years of my life.

10. A short tefl poem
– When you enter
the little room
across unknown faces, into the
silence,
with numerous questions,
waiting for the class to start,
wanting to break the silence. When you enter, this little room
consider yourself,
one of the special member’s
who enjoy’s working and
learning.
