My husband and I stayed for three nights at the Novotel North York and it was a
perfect stay in every way. Excellent location, great service upon check in & checkout,
and room very comfortable & clean. Breakfast buffet had everything we needed to
start the day. Shall be back next time we are in TO.

The hotel was more than adequate. Room and common areas were clean and that is
important. Staff was friendly. It is very convenient if you have business in the area.
My only real complaint is that the room had a smell to it, along the lines of carpet
freshener...not quite Potpourri, but pretty strong. I was not to terribly bothered by it,
but can definitely understand if others could not tolerate it. The room was spacious
and clean. And, of course, I have no idea if every room on every floor has such a
strong scent. But, that room did!

“Convenient and peaceful ”

It's only a few minutes walking from the Paddington underground station. It's linked to
the National Railway.
Room is average with a separate toilet.
They provide sachets of tea and coffee. Will much preferred if they can upgrade to a
Nespresso machine. Even though there was construction work next to it, noise was
barely audible.
Breakfast was same everyday and after 2 days, you will prefer something else for a
change.
We were out most time of the day and back only at night.

The room was ok but I would prefer that the toilet and the bathroom would be in the
same place other than two separate rooms. The breakfast was average at best, the
vegetable sausages were under cooked, the hash brown were stale. The location
was good because it was close to a train station.

I was not to terribly bothered by it, but can definitely understand if others could not tolerate it. The room was spacious and clean. And, of course, I have no idea if every room on every floor has such a strong scent. But, that room did! It's linked to the National Railway. Room is average with a separate toilet. They provide sachets of tea and coffee. Will much preferred if they can upgrade to a Nespresso machine. Even though there was construction work next to it, noise was barely audible. Breakfast was same everyday and after 2 days, you will prefer something else for a change. We were out most time of the day and back only at night. Stayed May 2016, travelled as a couple “Not so amazing...” 3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago The room was ok but I would prefer that the toilet and the bathroom would be in the same place other than two separate rooms. The breakfast was average at best, the vegetable sausages were under cooked, the hash brown were stale. The location was good because it was close to a train station.
