The document summarizes research into synthesizing MnO2-Ag nanocomposites for use in supercapacitors and glucose sensors. The nanocomposites were synthesized using different methods and concentration ratios of MnO2 and Ag. The highest specific capacitance of 189 F g-1 was achieved with a 1:0.1 weight ratio of MnO2 to Ag synthesized using a reducing agent. This method successfully produced the nanocomposite, unlike attempts using a redox reaction. Additionally, silver nanoparticles synthesized via electrodeposition were used to detect glucose oxidation for a glucose sensor application.
