Established in 2012 in India, the MOKSH group set out with a singular mission: to address
the global shortage of healthcare professionals. By 2018, it had emerged as a market leader in
facilitating healthcare student mobility in the B2C segment, annually placing over 1000 students
across six countries for medical programs.
This facet of the business, focused on student mobility, has since evolved into a foundational
network supporting all group endeavors worldwide. In response to industry demand, MOKSH
established a new Academy in 2018.
The Industry Impact
It was recognized that merely facilitating students' entry into medical school wasn't sufficient, as
every student needed to successfully pass licensing exams such as FMGE or USMLE before
practicing their clinical skills. With a pass rate as low as 14.22% in such licensing exams, it
became evident that a solution was urgently required.
In 2019, the Indian parliament enacted legislation mandating a national licensing exam for all
doctors, including those trained domestically and abroad, known as the National Exit Test
(NEXT). This test would be compulsory for all graduates from June 2023 onwards. Suddenly,
medical students realized that holding an MBBS degree did not automatically grant them a
license to practice in India, and they would need to prepare for the exit exam.
This scenario led to the establishment of MOKSH Academy, which has since become the
preferred test preparation solution among medical students nationwide for various entry and exit
exams.

In the past, there was a prevalent trend of following the crowd when deciding to pursue medical
education abroad. Often, students would rely on dubious education agents who would hastily
recommend universities. However, with the establishment of 35+ branches across various cities,
our organization has grown to become the largest healthcare placement and coaching academy in
India.
