1. Technical description of the conversion kit
The kit contains all relevant parts necessary for the modification of your Diesel engine to
be operated with vegetable oil according to the „Vegetable Oil Quality Standard“.
Specifically, the conversion kit contains - among other parts - the following components:
• Second fuel tank
• Fuel filters
• Electric fuel pump
• Hydraulic fuel heat exchanger
• Temperature sensor
• Switch
• Relays
• Self controlled fuel switch over valve
• Fuel lines
• Coolant lines
• electrical fuel feed pump
• Reminder / buzzer for diesel switch over procedure
• Instructions for installation
Wires for the electric system are supplied, as the length dimensions are not predictable. Wire
capacities are to be seen from the wiring scheme which is part of the delivery package.
Cable colours can vary from time to time. All components have to be installed according to the
instructions and in consideration of the applicable safety standards!
Important: Due to workshop experiences, we recommend every customer a model of second
fuel tank. You can recognise the model of the tank by the additional number of the invoice
number (for example PBR-ZT-777-04/SE2009). In case you prefer to use another model of
fuel tank, please add or subtract the price difference to your total amount and mark this
change on your payment receipt or pro forma invoice. On the same way, you can add any
other accessories.

ELSBETT conversions and ELSBETT conversion kits are optimised for the use of straight /
pure (new or recycled) vegetable oils (SVO or WVO), which are equal to the quality standard
and are not otherwise chemically or mechanically contaminated. You should make sure, that
your plant oil source complies with the following specifications. At freezing temperatures, we
advise to blend the vegetable oil with diesel fuel.
