This document summarizes key principles from behavioral science research on how customers perceive service experiences:
1) People recall the ending of an experience most vividly, so it's important to finish strongly with an upward trend in quality.
2) Unpleasant parts of an experience should come early to avoid dominating the overall recollection.
3) Pleasant experiences should be segmented while unpleasant parts should be combined to manipulate perceived duration.
4) Choice gives customers a sense of control which increases satisfaction, even if the choices don't impact outcomes.
5) Rituals provide structure and predictability that customers find comforting.

A presentation conducted by Dr David Cosgrove, Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics (BITRE). Presented on Wednesday the 2nd of October 2013.
The Australian Low Carbon Transport Forum (initiated by ARRB, BITRE and CSIRO) was organised to gather knowledge on options for transport emission abatement, with participation of government, industry, academic and other research organisations; aiming to identify options capable of significantly improving transport sector efficiency, estimate possible greenhouse emission reductions for each option, and examine any challenges to
achieving their full potential. This interdisciplinary study analysed a wide range of prospects, covering vehicle and fuel technologies, infrastructure improvements and land-use planning, travel demand management, mode shifts and other behavioural change. A novel aggregation process
was developed, to estimate the maximal benefits, by 2050, from a full package of measures acting together demonstrating that large reductions in expected emissions
should be technically feasible, even with increasing population, without sacrificing access to transport services.

GCES White Paper - Vapor-Tolerant and Aqueous RTOsDan Robles
Thermal oxidation systems can treat vapor-rich and wastewater streams by injecting them into the oxidization process. Gulf Coast Environmental Systems (GCES) designs vapor-tolerant and aqueous regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) systems to handle these difficult streams. GCES's three-canister RTOs achieve over 99% destruction and elimination rates (DRE) and safely perform required "bake-out" cleaning cycles. GCES has installed multiple RTO systems for rendering and other industrial applications, gaining experience to optimize their designs for vapor-laden and wastewater processes.

This document provides an overview of the mysterious 1960s Argentine rock group El Sonido de Hillber. It discusses how little is known about the group, with contradictory information online. They were unique for pairing rock musicians with a string quartet from the Di Tella Institute in Buenos Aires. The group released up to four singles that flopped commercially in Argentina. The author was introduced to their music in 2008 and discovered they had an experimental psychedelic rock sound that blended the string quartet and band. While details about the group remain elusive, their music shows promise and hints at why they have developed a cult following among obscure psych fans today.
Pat the Bunny was a seminal figure in the folk punk scene who documented his life journey through three bands over 15 years. His early band Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains sang about drugs, alcohol, politics and giving up on life from age 13. His next band Wingnut Dishwashers Union showed more musical skill and sang angrily about politics and restraints. His final band Ramshackle Glory, formed after rehab, featured more hopeful lyrics about finding meaning in small things and moving past previous destructive beliefs. Through his raw, emotional lyrics performed across different styles, Pat the Bunny gave listeners an inside view of his struggles and growth out of an anarchist punk mindset into sobriety and appreciation for life

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like
Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems

Changes in vegetation cover refer to variations in the distribution, composition, and overall
structure of plant communities across different temporal and spatial scales. These changes can
occur natural.

2. What happened to the party?
I started writing about playlists and things got weird. I noticed
the sadness about making playlists.
I also noticed funny things. So I combined the sad things with
a sense of humor. I laugh when I’m sad.
At least there are buttons.
3. A Little About me
Librarian (obvi)
DJ (not anymore)
A Person of Public Places
Zine Maker
Installation Artist
4. How to meet people
Build relationships
Grow relationships
Connect with people in a welcome way
I wish I could study how people listen to music.
6. Sorry Edward Albee,
“One must always mistrust fashion, because it is, as often as
not, arbitrary; and the assumption that one can become
informed of, and participate in, the intellectual temper of our
time through reliance on any breathlessly composed list of
fashionable far outs is funny and sad—and, what is much
worse, terribly conformist.”
8. Ephemeral is preferable
It’s here and then it’s gone.
Fanzines and zines are projects that don’t last forever.
It’s about the atmosphere that playlists create.
9. New Media Literacies
Collective Intelligence

grasping and following alternative norms.

11. Book playlists
The thing about book playlists is they’re fine. Especially for
connecting with teachers, classroom projects, and people who
read books. I do this and will continue to do this for anybody
that asks.
However libraries are not just about the books. Libraries are
about people. Include their voices.
Super Upsetting.
12. 0EFW
(Open and Enabled For
Whatever)
You don’t need directions. People know about playlists.
Time-of-year is a good starting point.
Songs with swear words are allowed. Playlists do not violate
the FCC. You are not actually playing the songs.
13. What you need
A xerox machine (To make the playlists). I love xerox
machines.
The person’s name. Always tell people that writing
“Anonymous” is ok.
A list of songs from that person. You can look up artist’s
names later.
14. What you need continued
Willing people to type up messily written playlists.
A place to display the playlists. Pretend you are an installation
artist.
Optional: A massive, streaming playlist on “da cloud”.
Optional: A zine compiling the playlists.
15. Feels like the worst time
Let’s have some fun.
Also ask some questions.
