For massive graphs that fit in RAM, but not in GPU memory, it is possible to take
advantage of a shared memory system with multiple CPUs, each with multiple cores, to
accelerate pagerank computation. If the NUMA architecture of the system is properly taken
into account with good vertex partitioning, the speedup can be significant. To take steps in
this direction, experiments are conducted to implement pagerank in OpenMP using two
different approaches, uniform and hybrid. The uniform approach runs all primitives required
for pagerank in OpenMP mode (with multiple threads). On the other hand, the hybrid
approach runs certain primitives in sequential mode (i.e., sumAt, multiply).
Techniques to optimize the pagerank algorithm usually fall in two categories. One is to try reducing the work per iteration, and the other is to try reducing the number of iterations. These goals are often at odds with one another. Skipping computation on vertices which have already converged has the potential to save iteration time. Skipping in-identical vertices, with the same in-links, helps reduce duplicate computations and thus could help reduce iteration time. Road networks often have chains which can be short-circuited before pagerank computation to improve performance. Final ranks of chain nodes can be easily calculated. This could reduce both the iteration time, and the number of iterations. If a graph has no dangling nodes, pagerank of each strongly connected component can be computed in topological order. This could help reduce the iteration time, no. of iterations, and also enable multi-iteration concurrency in pagerank computation. The combination of all of the above methods is the STICD algorithm. [sticd] For dynamic graphs, unchanged components whose ranks are unaffected can be skipped altogether.

Introduction
Human Resources have made considerable progress from the conventional spotlight on
accumulating and tracking data on personnel to the cutting edge focal point of utilizing the
information to make further logical associations over the business.
Innovation has changed our lives and the manner in which we impart, how we realize, how we
work and invest free energy, generally it has pretty much changed each part of human society one
can consider. The centrality of the Internet and Information Technology (IT) in both business and
private field has developed extensively in the most recent years, with exponential development of
Internet users and services offered.
Human Resources is put forward into the limelight with HR Analytics. In previous years, one of
HR's essential objectives was to gather and keep track of workers' personal and professional
information, for example, payroll, health benefits and performance evaluations. Presently,
technology has changed HR in to a place where it can investigate information to assume a more
dynamic job in the organization.
HR Analytics refers to a process where methods of data mining and Business Analytics are used for
handling HR data. It is occasionally also stated to as talent Analytics. Additionally, data mining in
this setting refers to the practice of studying set databases so that new information can be created.

HR Analytics Software: Zoho People
There are many HR Analytics softwares that companies use like Zoho People, IBM Kenexa,
TrenData, Crunchr, etc. To understand in depth about HR Analytics, the software Zoho People has
been explored. Zoho People is a multipurpose solution because this software program helps to
manage HR as well as giving Analytics. It can help with leave, attendance and time tracking so that
HRs don’t have to do it manually anymore.
The first thing we come across is their home page. Here we can see that the company can sign up
for free but this only lasts for 15 days. After that there are various payment plans.

In the payment plans, it can be seen that they have four types of plans. The Essential HR plan
provides basic HRIS and self-service login for employees along with Leave Management system.
The Professional plan provides attendance and time sheets as well. The Premium plan provides shift
scheduling and performance reviews. The Enterprise plan provides 360 Feedback.

In the payment plans, there is another plan which states that the software is forever free for
companies which have less than or equal to five employees. They also have the option of live chat
on their website. This is useful as any queries can be solved immediately by the website. They can
also discuss the payment plans suitable to them.

Features
HR involves many complicated tasks and processing. Zoho People helps the companies to get a
simple yet all-inclusive and flexible system to manage all the HR activites.
3.1. Database Management
The first feature of Zoho People is Database Management. It can be seen that all the basic
information about the employees can be stored using the software like name, email id, date of
joining, role, location, etc. It also provides the option of importing employee data from another
worksheet.

The data can also be stored location wise and department wise. This makes it very user friendly and
any data can be found easily. For location wise segregation, the employees can be divided
according to the countries.

For department wise data, new departments can be added. They can be arranged according to
preference of the HR.

Another special feature of Zoho Peope is that it shows the clear cut reporting structure and the
overall organizational hierarchy that is followed. Zoho People can be used to show Employee Tree
or Department Tree.

3.2. Attendance Management System
Zoho People also provides a very advanced way of keeping track of attendance. The employees can
check-in and check-out just through their mobiles. The Company can also enable Geo Tracking by
which it can be seen where the employee was when the check-in was made. They can add
restrictions to the employee’s check-in through Geo Tracking, i.e, only allowing them to check-in
when their location shows that they are in the office.

The company can generate monthly attendance reports for all the employees. It can also show daily
or hourly reports. It shows the days that are holidays and the days where employee has taken Leave
of Pay.

The break time for the employees can also be set. This helps in calculating the working hours. The
break time can be set for employees in different countries.

3.4. Leave Management System
The leave management system makes it easier to calculate leave entitlement, rollovers, etc. The
holidays can also be customized according to the countries. The applicability can be set to certain
sets of employees only.

The employees can bill the clients according to the time they invest in a project. This can be done
on weekly or daily basis. Multiple projects can also be created in the software. The timer can be
started or stopped according to the employee. It can show how much work has been done in each

The HR Analytics software explored here is simple and many organizations can use it to gain
competitive advantages. Hence this can achieve the dream of transforming a country’s human
capital to the country’s workforce. It can be seen that HR field truly is in the midst of a change. It is
time for HRs to start predicting business results instead of trying to improve an employee
engagement score and increase participation rates on their initiatives.
