1) A point is an exact location that has no size or dimensions, only position. It is usually denoted by a letter like A. 2) A line has one dimension of length but no width or depth. It extends infinitely in both directions from a point. A line segment is a portion of a line with two distinct end points. 3) A ray has one end point and extends infinitely in one direction from that point. An angle is formed when two rays share an endpoint, called the vertex. The rays are the arms of the angle.
