2. ACUTE ANGLES
 To the left is a
picture of an
acute angle. An
acute angle is an
angle that is less
than 90 degrees,
(or a right
angle).

3. RIGHT ANGLES
 Thispicture is a
picture of a right
angle. A right
angle is an angle
that adds up to
90 degrees.

4. OBTUSE
ANGLES
Below is a picture of an obtuse angle. An obtuse
angle is an angle that is larger than a right angle;
where the lines extend out farther than if they
were straight.

5. To the left is
STRAIGHT ANGLES
a straight
angle, and
that is when
the right
angle moves
its lines
downward to
create two
straight lines
on either
sides of the
points.

6. COMPLEMENTARY ANGLES
 To the right is a
picture of a
complementary angle.
A complementary
angle is two angles
whose measures both
have a sum of 90
degrees. There are a
couple ways in which
you could create a
complementary angle
with these images on
the right.

7. SUPPLEMENTARY ANGLES
 Tothe right is a
supplementary
angle. This
means that
these two
angles add up to
180 degrees.

8. BISECTED ANGLES
Pictured above is a bisected angle. A bisect
angle is an angle that divides something into
two equal parts, so that its spilt halfway
down the middle.

9. VERTICAL ANGLES
 To the right is a
vertical angle. A
vertical angle is an
angle with two
nonadjacent angles
formed by 2
intersecting lines.
Also, all vertical
angles are congruent.

10. To the left is
LINEAR ANGLES
a linear
angle. A
linear pair
is a pair of
adjacent
angles
whose
noncommon
sides are
opposite
rays. The
angles in a
linear pair
also have a
measure
that add up
to 180
degrees.
