can be auto-received by the system,
allowing for receipt compliance without
requiring the requester to take manual
actions to enter receiving data. At times,
however, the requester may want to make
manual changes to an auto-received order.
Ariba Buyer 9r2 introduces the ability to
“flip” auto-received orders to manually
receiving, allowing additional receiving
precision. Orders that are auto-received
can also be “flipped” after the auto-receipt
takes place, allowing users to back out any
auto-receiving as needed.

With 9r2, the process for creating a
requisition with the same items for multiple
locations will be streamlined, allowing users
to use a pre-defined shipping template to
define the locations to which an order can
be shipped and providing a much
faster process for defining multiple shipping
locations.

IPv6 Compatibility
Support various transition technologies
Support a Dual-stack environment
The amount of connected devices is
multiplying at an exponential rate and
expected to surpass 22 billion devices by
2020. The world is quickly running out of
IPv4 addresses (Asia already has) and a
new standard has been rolled out called
IPv6 to accommodate all of these devices
and exponentially more.
Unfortunately, IPv6 addresses are
incompatible with IPv4 addresses and in
9r2 Ariba will allow the customer to support
these IPv6 devices natively and with
transition technologies.
